An Orientation Training on Forest Protection and Law Enforcement was held on Busuanga Island Paradise, Coron, Palawan on November 24-28, 2014. The said activity was participated by Bantay Gubat from different Municipalities of Region IV-B, its PENRO and CENROs and representatives from the Philippine National Police. The participants learned the proper procedure in apprehension of violators of Forestry Laws and filing of criminal complaint against them in a lecture on Enforcement of Forestry Laws conducted by Atty. Alma Delos Reyes-Lanzo, Chief Legal Officer of Forest Management Bureau. You can see the enthusiasm of the attendees as they actively participated in the discussion and sharing of information during the training. The Orientation was ended by a Mock Trial activity prepared by a Legal Assistant from the Forest Management Bureau.
