Who is Joanne Dong? Ø Joanne Dong has enjoyed a 16-‐year career with the last seven years’ focus on business
processes and business architecture. She has worked on various projects as Senior Business Process Analyst and Business Architect.
In 2008, Joanne was brought in as an IBM consultant to document business processes for an Ontario government agency. A year later she was hired by the agency to establish business process improvement standards and best pracJces. Ending her 12+-‐year career as an IBM consultant contributed to her balanced view on business process improvement (“BPI”) from both outside consultants’ perspecJve and inside pracJJoners’ perspecJve. It also resulted in the design of a Process-‐Centric Business Architecture, a framework for building target operaJng models and ensuring alignments among different components of the business.
Joanne is passionate about helping organizaJons and individuals succeed in their BPI and business architecture endeavours.
