Thegeneral public is herebycautioned that none of thecompanies of Rose ValleyGroup have obtained acertificate of registrationfrom SEBI to run a CIS toraise money from inves-tors," the advertisementsaid.
After the chit-fundedSaradha Group collapsedunable to repay to lakhsof depositors, the capitalmarkets watchdog hasbeen regularly issuing ad-vertisements in major na-tional and regional dailiesdrawing investors' atten-tion to such dubiousschemes promising highreturns. On the other hand,a hoard of companies en-gaged in raising funds un-der such schemes hasbeen talking to media toallay investor fears.
Several such compa-nies, including Rose Val-
ley, MPS Greenery,Prayag Group, I-Core,have come up with adver-tisements in various printand electronic media, as-suring their investors.
Fol lowing theSaradha collapse, inves-tors have been making abeeline against the of-fices of the ponzi firmsseeking refund of theirinvestment. Over adozen agents, investorsand operators of suchcompanies have commit-ted suicide across WestBengal since the scambroke out.
