Getting started Making sense of your Router

Quick setup Step 1: Find a central location in your home/office to install the device

Step 3: Inserting the SIM cardTo start, you’ll need to insert the SIM card in to your Router.

Step 2: Installing the support stand on the baseAlign the Router with the locking catches on the base and push downward to lock it into place, as shown below.

Note: To avoid damaging the Router or SIM card, make sure you power off the Router and remove the external power adapter before removing or insertingthe SIM card.

Step 4: Connecting to a power source Simply connect the external power adaptor to a standard power outlet. Insert the plug into the socket at the rear of the Router.

Step 5: Switching on your device1. To get started, turn the power switch on.2. After approximately several minutes, the Power light symbol will light up.

Step 6: Getting connectedOnce your Router is switched on, you can either connect using an Ethernet cable directly to your computer’s network port, or using your computer's Wireless Network Connection. The default SSID (or network name) is [Business Mobile Broadband Wi-Fi Router ].

Step 7: Securing your Wi-Fi networkOnce your computer is connected to the Router, enter the Router’s IP address in to a web browser. This will normally be http://192.168.0.1. Your Wi-Fi management page has a username and password to make sure that no one else can change your settings. The default password is ‘admin’.

Once logged in, your Router management dashboard is a useful tool that allows you to manage your settings. You can: • Change your Wi-Fi Key/ password and Mobile Wi-Fi (SSID) name to something more memorable• Secure your Wi-Fi settings• View network signal strength• View important messages from du relating to your mobile broadband service• Send and receive text messages

Now, make sure:• The SIM card is inserted• The Ethernet cable is connected properly• The Power light is on• The RSSI light is on• The Network light is on

Then, you’re all set.

Note: We recommend you change the password the first time you log in.

Resetting your RouterIf you’re experiencing problems with your mobile broadband Wi-Fi connection, simply press the reset button, or swtich your Router off and on to reboot.

Glossary

WPS: Stands for Wi-Fi Protected Setup. This is a computing standard that allows simple setup of a secure wireless network, making it easy to add new devices to your network without entering long passwords.

RSSI: Stands for Recieved Signal Strength Indicator.

Troubleshooting

If you’re having trouble connecting:• Make sure that the Router is turned on and all the cables are in the right place.• Check the LED’s are lit and not in a blinking state or off.• The speed is dependent on signal strength - try moving the Router closer to a window.

Safety notes

GeneralPlease read this user guide carefully before using the Router. The Router’s purpose is to provide improved mobile Wi-Fi connectivity coverage inside your office. Do not use this device for any other purpose, as doing so may be dangerous.

PlacementThe Router and all its components (including cables and power adaptor) should be placed in a dry, indoor area, at elevated heights such as on top of shelves, cabinets, etc. It should be kept away from any wet or damp environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms or any other areas with exposure to moisture, sprays, drips, or running water. To prevent interference, place the Router away from TV sets, radio and other electronic equipment. While in service, people should stand back at least 20 cm from the device’s antenna and the antenna should not be placed alongside any other antenna or transmitting device.

EmergencyDo not rely on the Router to provide emergency calls in all situations. It will only support emergency dialing when there is power and connection to the mobile network. If the power fails, the Router cannot work. If you have no network coverage you will not be able to make emergency calls. The Router does not include fixed line wired access to the PSTN.

For More Time:If your connection is unused for 12 months, you can recharge using the More Time rechargeoption. The balance of AED 55 will be used to renew your connection.

Power supplyOnly use the power adaptor provided with your device; do not attempt to use another power adaptor. Ensure that the power adaptor is always easily accessible and that the voltage specified corresponds to the power socket to which you connect it. If you have no mobile network coverage and need to make an emergency call, please use a land line. In case of a natural disaster, please disconnect the device to avoid damaging it.

CE markingThe CE marking of the Router certifies that this product meets the basic requirements of the European Parliament and Council directive 1999/5/ CE on telecommunications terminal equipment regarding safety and health of users and electromagnetic interference.

كيفية إدارة رصيد البيانات وتعبئته؟يجب على عملاء »الدفع الفوري« تعبئة رصيد بياناتهم عبر خيار »بيانات أكثر« لتعبئة الرصيد.

الإعداد السريعالخطوة 1: البحث عن موقع مناسب في المكتب من أجل تثبيت الجهاز

الخطوة 2: تركيب القاعدة على أسفل الجهاز قم بوضع الموجه على ملاقط القاعدة وثبته بإحكام

كما هو مبين أدناه.

ملاحظة: لتجنب إحداث أي ضرر على الموجه أو لشريحة SIM، تأكدوا من إطفاء الموجه وفصل وصلة الكهرباء قبل إزالتها أو إدخالها.
