BUSINESS PROJECT ASSIGNMENT

PROJECT CHARTER

Project Title : Create a new business : Bana Bana Snacks that provide new variant of snacks made

from bananas.

Purpose : Utilizing national resources from local area, North Sulawesi which is banana and to gain

profit.

Description : Bana Bana Snacks products is snacks that made from banana. What makes us

difference with the other business is we make innovation in our products. We are planning to make

banana chips with variety of taste like chocolate, bbq, cheese and other flavors also other snacks

made from banana like banana nugget that is new and cant be found in Manado. We plan to

operate our business by opening stand or booth. For the packaging, wewill makegood and simple

design, so it is easy to bring it everywhere.

Objective : The objectives of our business are :

*Help the local farmers by buying and using bananas as our core raw material for our product

*Minimize the number of unemployment

*To be known by people especially in Manado

*To become number one in banana snack business in Manado

Success Criteria or Expected Benefits : Achieving total sales of Rp 15.000.000 within 3 months after

starting the business.

Funding : To start this business, we will need total capital of Rp 16.400.000

Description :

*Core raw materials : Bananas = Rp 5.000.0000, Seasoning = Rp 2.000.000

*Stand : Rp 4.500.000

*Stove : Rp 500.000

*Food Utilities : Rp 1.000.000

*Packaging : Rp 2.000.000

*Rent : Rp 1.500.000

*Employee Salaries : @ 2 persons x Rp 700.000 = Rp 1.400.000

*Unexpected Cost/Miscellanous : Rp 500.000

Major Deliverables : Produce a profitable business that make innovation in variants of snacks made

from bananas.

Acceptance Criteria : The product is made from the selected banana and through hygienic process

so it will give the best quality products to the customer.

Milestone Schedule :

Week 1 Planning and Preparing

Week 2-4 Designing Stand, Product, and Package

Week 5 Start operating the business

Week 12 Performance Evaluation

Key Assumption : Our business, Bana Bana Snacks will get the expected profit by the end of month

3.

Constraints : Our products will have a lot of flavors which are cheese, chocolate, bbq and others.

Also, our product is guaranteed because it is made from high quality materials with hygienic process.

Major Risk :Customer who hesitate to buy our product because many people in Manado still prefer

to eat the ordinary fried banana served with dabu-dabu.

Approval Requirements : This business plan has been discussed and approved by all the members of

group.

Project Manager : Anggi is assigned as the project manager of Bana Bana Snacks and responsible for

the project. She will oversee the performance of the business.

Reporting Requirements : Bana Bana Snacks project manager prepare the written reports and

submit it to the Director of the business at the end of month 3 after the evaluation of the business.
