5. SustainabilityPIKITUP BIN CLEANING PROJECT
The organisation has undertaken a clean-up initiative within the community to clean the dustbins currently the project has not yielded desired results as yet however it has commenced already and we are currently trying to convince the entire community to buy into this project as it could be the model of sustenance for the rehab and
could keep the residents of the home committed to self-dependency and accountability. This project could bring about a total revenue generation of approximately R4 000 for 40 houses in a space of 1 month and we also looking to increase the customer base as this type of business does not exist within our regional vicinity and those that do exist make use of high end quality products and thus charge at an expensive rate, we opt for a more cheaper but reliable germ killing product which will give customers the same hygiene at a lower cost. There is a need rather for this project and that is the attainment of overalls for the residents to conduct this work in a more efficient, disciplined and organised manner.
We also have a plan to set up a startup venture of a printing company and we have conducted thorough research with regards to the inception and establishment of this business start-up and it is part of
our re-integration strategy as we’ve realised that the main cause of relapses is due to the lack of social-economic and revenue inclusiveness amongst youth. The space for the operations of this startup has been identified and there has also been a desirable response from local businesses and potential customers.Below is a speculative Financial Forecast
