Market Trends

Today’s trend is mainly consisted of the popularity of Blu-ray over DVDs, and also gaming has taken over the market, over movies.

Market Growth

Movies today are ever-so-popular, especially on Blu-ray. We might consider selling Blu-ray DVD players, if we want to grow as a business.

Industry Analysis

The movie rental industry today has changed. Blu-rays are more popular. Also, piracy, despite being illegal, are trending in this very industry.

Main Competitors

LoveFilm and Blockbluster are the main competitors in the rental industry. Some other movie rental businesses are considered a threat.

Example text

• I am the Managing Director of this very business.

• I would like to have the BAF Diploma teachers; Mr Coakley and Mr Whymark. They have their own businesses and know a lot about business in general.

• This would seem more realistic.

Total Funding Needs

• Altogether we need £20,000 for our business. We are hoping to have an income of at least £80,000 for the first year.

Initial Capital• We will be needing at least

£20,000 to start our business, including the shares sold.

Investment• We will be needing to buy DVDs

from a supplier. We are currently looking for a better deal.

Loan• We may have to borrow a loan

from a bank of the same amount needed, if the share selling may not be sucessful. This is unlikely.
