All courses are taught in English to the same teaching assessment standards as the University of Nottingham in the UK. This means that you be sure your degree will be recognised by employers and universities worldwide.

MSc Business AnalyticsThis course is taught in collaboration with multinational companies and will give you the essential skillset they are looking for. It has been developed by the Neodemographic Laboratory for Analytics in Business (N-LAB).

You will benefit from the engagement of N-Lab’s multi-national partners, who include Ipsos, World Bank, Walgreens Boots Alliance and IBM Research. In addition to guest lectures, coursework will be based on real-world datasets and your dissertation will use transactional data from a real company.

Our course will help you to become a business orientated data scientist with a technical skillset, the ability to harness big data tools and the managerial skills to deliver practical businessanalytics projects. It will prepare you for senior management positions within the broad scope of the digital economy.

Entry requirements2:1 (or international equivalent) in any discipline; applicants should not have previously studied a significant amount of business analytics, but must have a 2:1 (or international equivalent) in quantitative modules at degree level with a significant amount of mathematical/statistical content.

Funding and scholarships

International studentsThe University offers a wide range of scholarships for international students.When planning your studies and funding, you should consider your living expenses, such as accommodation, food, travel and leisure, plus tuition fees.

You can work part-time for some extra spending money, but cannot fund your studies through part-time work. If you need a Tier 4 student visa, you will need to show funds for your tuition fees and living expenses – based on £1,015 per month for a single student in 2020.

EU studentsThe UK government has confirmed that EU, other EEA and Swiss nationals starting courses in the 2021/22 academic year will no longer be eligible for home/UK fee status or financial support from Student Finance England.
