• The Business Mentors New Zealand (BMNZ) service established in 1991by a group of leading New
Zealand businessmen
• Provides a voluntary mentoring service to New Zealand SME businesses.
• Aims to assist SME businesses to survive and grow, and create employment opportunities.
• SMEs with fewer than 25 full time employees, trading and with evidence of accounts.

• Providing their skill, knowledge and experience for the benefit of SME clients
• Supporting the implementation of knowledge and solutions that meet the particular client’s
circumstances.

• On average 250 new clients every month
• 3000 new clients every year
• Around 1500 clients ongoing each year
• BMNZ helps on average 4,300 business clients a year
• 15,500 active client database
• Assisted over 60,000 businesses since 1991
• In addition we have also supported 127 Not for Profit organisations in the last two years.
