Page 2: Business intelligence recruitment

• 300 recruited over 2 Recruitment Cycles – March and August

• Each Cycle lasted for 30 days each (Engg.+ Commerce timlelines) – Not ideal

• Year average of 9.5 interviews per day – Major lack of on ground outreach and

infrastructure for required volumes!

• Each Cycle recruited about 150 members each this year

• Each Cycle had around 290 interviews each – Far short of targets set

• Based on Talent Planning

• Selection Process was skill based (http://bit.ly/IXMfhh)

• Standardized Mentorship Module implemented post-recruitment

• Recruitment was majorly conducted in office, which is not feasible for high volumes

• Successfully migrated to a web based platform

• 3 university based recruitment

• 2 cycles suggested, one phase of 10 days each, maximum

• Continue Skill based Talent Assessment and Planning process

• Find a venue partner for recruitments – ideally run interviews for one day each in

main colleges

• Find a HR partner to streamline and improve selection process

• Create a retention plan for Engineering colleges

• Stick to skill ratios

• Use Campus units to supplement Marketing efforts – Selection ratio of 3:1 must

be maintained

• Mount Carmel College, Jyothi Nivas College, BMSCE and Jain CMS are high

priority markets that need to be tapped immediately.
