So Sihon gathered all his people together, encamped in Jahaz, and fought against Israel. NKJV The Hebrews attempted to negotiate a transaction with Sihon and the Heshbonites but it fell through. The whole episode ended up in an armed conflict and a temporary delay of the plans of the Hebrews. This all happened because of a lack of trust. Trust is an essential component of business. We are all engaged in some form of business. Business is a part of our daily lives. The process of business is predicated upon exchange. Business is the process of giving your goods, assets, skills, service and knowledge or wisdom in exchange for something of value. The things we exchange can be quantified in three universal currencies.

That is why time is the most valuable of all the three. Wesometimesthinkmoneyisthemostvaluablebecausetime,whenwellspentandtrust,canproducemoney.Trust is the one thing that is essential to every individual, relationship, team,family, organization, nation, economy and civilization throughout all the earth.Trust is the one thing that if removed, it can destroy the most powerfulgovernment, cripple the most successful business, stifle the most thrivingeconomy, discredit the most influential leadership, poison the most faithfulfriendship,damagethestrongestcharacteranditcansourthedeepestlove.On theotherhand, if trust isdeveloped andutilizedwell, it can leverage yourbusiness andpropel you tounparalleled success. Itwillbring youprosperity ineverysphereofyour life.It issadthat it isthe leastunderstood,mostneglectedandmostunderestimatedbusinessresourceofourtime.

    Trust isatangiblehumanexperience.Likemoney itcanbecomeameasurementof our progress. Trust comes and trust goes. Trust is spent as a currency inexchangeforspeedandcost.Itisonlywhenpeopletrustthattheywillbewillingtorisk,experiment,explore,sacrifice,belong,beselflessordosomethingforthegreatergood.Weallwanttotrust.Itispartofourhumannaturetotrust.ItisalsointheseedofGodinustotrust.Peoplewanttobetrustedandtheywanttotrust.Biologicallywehave inourbrains something called 'mirrorneurons'andalsobecauseofachemical calledOxytocin (C43H66N12O12S2) that is released to our brains. Thischemical has now become known as the 'truth and trust serum'. A lack ofadequate secretion of the pituitary octapeptide hormone, oxytocin has beendirectly linked to sociopathy, psychopathy and narcissism (lack of empathy) inpeople.Acombinationof'MirrorNeurons'andOxytocincauseustoleantowardstrustingwheneverwearetrusted.Becauseofthis,trustissometimesusedatoolofinterrogationandasameansofmanipulation.Fora'SaintinBusiness'trustisafoundationalassetofourbusiness.Wemustapproach trustnotasameansofmanipulation,butasaneffectivewaytodobusiness.Inorder forus toappreciate trustasa tangibleasset inourbusiness,wemustunderstand how trust can be moved from being an intangible, unquantifiablevariable to becoming an indispensible, tangible and measurable factor inbusiness.Todo thiswemust recognize that trustaffects two things;speedandcost.Speedinbusinessisdirectlyproportionaltotrust.Whenthereismoretrustthere ismorespeed.Cost is inverselyproportional to trust.Where there is lesstrustthereismorecost.Thisistrueineveryareaoflifeandbusiness.Nothingcanaccelerateabusiness like thespeedof trust,andnothingcanholdbackyourbreakthroughlikethelackoftrust.Thereisnobusinessaseffectiveasapartnershiporateamestablishedbythepoweroftrustandthere isnothingasfrustratingasa teamwithout trust.There isnothingas inspiringasanofferoftrustandnothingasdishearteningaswhenwearedistrusted.Thereisnothingas
