Our business is organized in the following two business segments: Energy Services Group; and. Engineering and Construction Group. E n e r g y S e r v i c e s G r o u p . The Energy Services Group provides a wide range of discrete services and products and integrated solutions to customers for the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas. The customers for this segment are major, national and independent oil and gas companies. This segment consists of: . Halliburton Energy Services provides oilfield services and products including discrete products and services and integrated solutions ranging from the initial evaluation of producing formations to drilling, completion, production and well maintenance. Products and services include pressure pumping equipment and services, logging and perforating, drilling systems and services, drilling fluids systems, drill bits, specialized completion and production equipment and services, well control and integrated solutions; .Landmark Graphics provides integrated exploration and production software information systems, data management services, and professional services for the upstream oil and gas industry; and .Other product service lines provide installation andservicing of subsea facilities and pipelines. In January2002, we sold to Saipem, our joint venture partner, our50% interest in European Marine Contractors Ltd., ajoint venture that provided pipeline services for offshorecustomers. In May 2002, we contributed substantiallyall of our Halliburton Subsea assets to a newly formedcompany, Subsea 7, Inc.We own 50% of Subsea 7, Inc.and DSND Subsea ASA owns the other 50%. InSeptember 2002, we sold our 50% interest in Bredero-Shaw, a pipecoating joint venture, to our partner ShawCor Ltd. See Note 2. Engineering and Const r u c t i o n G roup. TheEngineering and Construction Group provides engineering,procurement, construction, project management, andfacilities operation and maintenance for oil and gas andother industrial and governmental customers. TheEngineering and Construction Group, operating as KBR,offers the following five product lines:. Onshore operations consist of engineering and constructionactivities, including engineering and construction ofliquefied natural gas, ammonia and crude oil refineriesand natural gas plants;. Offshore operations include specialty offshore deepwater engineering and marine technology and worldwide fabrication capabilities; .Government operations provide operations, construction,maintenance and logistics activities for governmentfacilities and installations;. Operations and maintenance services include plantoperations, maintenance, and start-up services for bothupstream and downstream oil, gas and petrochemicalfacilities as well as operations, maintenance and logisticsservices for the power, commercial and industrialmarkets; and. Infrastructure provides civil engineering, consulting andproject management services.
