BURLESQUEDirected by Steve Antin, " Burlesque" is a musical film about a small-town girl called Ali (Christina Aguilera) with a great voice who are looking for a place where make their dreams come true. She works in Iowa as a waitress and one day she decides to changed her life and moves to Los Angeles. It is a musical film where you feel like getting out of the chair to get to dance.

"Burlesque" is an American drama and musical film. The two most important characters are Ali and Tess (Cher). The last one is the owner of the Burlesque club, she turns the girls into a stars. When Ali find the club, she try to get a work there. She lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess club. Soon enough, with the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and a pretty waiter Jack (Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory.

An important scene is the last song where Ali how star singer dance and sing a beautiful song and everyone in the club gets up and applauded enthusiastically. Furthermore, we can enjoy with some of the songs in the film specially with "Bound to you" in which Christina Aguilera sings a romantic song alone.

The songs are absolutely impressive and the costumes and choreography are so originals. For this reason the film is nominated for three Golden Globes:

Nominated for Best Picture Comedy or Musical. Two nominations in the Best Original Song Section For "Bound to you".

It´s a great film, but not for those who don't like musical films. So there are few parts in the film where they don´t sing. Cher has an important role in the movie, she shows compromise to her work and desire to improve. I enjoy so much seeing this movie and I recommended it for everyone who likes romantic and musical films.
