Executive Summary:
Biogas is a combustible gas that is generated through fermentation process of organic matter
with microorganism in anaerobic conditions. The composition of biogas through Kitchen waste
is mainly methane and carbon dioxide. Biogas is a type of renewable energy that has features of
abundant resources, low cost, high thermal efficiency and clean producing.
Applying biogas through Kitchen waste has various benefits, such as reducing greenhouse gas
emissions, providing alternative energy to fossil energy of fuel, and improving the ecological
environment.
Along with the situation of global energy crisis and environment pollution, Biogas has played a
significant role in the world, and is becoming a sunrise industry .With huge potential of broad
development.
We believe, with such high demand for fuel in suburban areas of Islamabad and Rawal Pindi our
product “Biogas thought Kitchen waste” is a plausible, marketable, and sustainable product.
And it will also be beneficial for the social, environmental and we can provide eco-nominal
benefits to our targeted poor urban area and small community,

Overview:
As the 67% of Pakistan population lives in Urban Areas and because lack of proper recourse
management the urban area people are being deprived of their basic needs like Electricity, Gas
and etc, So they have to face many problem.
Excessive use of biomass energy is not only a threat to the environment due to the high use of
forest resources, but also results in a drop off in the agricultural productivity due to the diversion
of agricultural residues and animal waste from farms to fireplace
Fruit and vegetable waste contains more than double the energy potential per unit weight
compared to other organic material that is used in biogas production
For the very same reason we develop a product which is simple and cost effective so the
population comes under the middle and lower class can maximum make use of it .
Our product is based on methodology that uses the biochemical degradation of organic waste
material through the help of bacteria, which will eventually produces the Biogas, which can be
use as a supplement of energy in any home.
Our aim is to provide a cost effective renewable energy source “Biogas plant” .It is Non-
Polluting, Cheaper Technology, Odor Less, Environmental Friendly and Socio-Econo-Sustano

Market Need:
We are living in an era of energy shortage. At a time of increased prices, rising inflation,
diminishing resources and intense global demand for energy, we need to have options and must
continue to research ways to meet challenges.
For coping up with this problem, biogas technology is definitely one option that we as Pakistani
look into closely it can be recycled to produce efficient and useable energy. By using this, we
can generate over hundred billion kilowatts of energy, enough to power for million of homes
across the country; also it can decrease global warming by 4% and major benefits attained to the
developing nations. Benefits like usage in households reduce air and water pollution, saving
money improving hygienic conditions .Producing high quality fertilizers, saving cooking time,
saving collecting fire woods and also improving rural standard of living.
Our product basically deal with the generation of Bio Gas from Kitchen waste which can be a
supplement to their needs of gas mostly high demand in winter season in urban area.

Target Market:
The business model includes the production and distribution of biogas to the customer: the
residents of the suburban areas of Islamabad and Rawal Pindi. It also includes selling or
consuming the byproduct of the biogas digestion system as bio-fertilizer to farmers. The specific
Farmers and Restaurants can be targeted, include those who are currently selling their organic
waste in suburban areas of Islamabad and Rawal Pindi. By focusing on these farmers, we are
catering to a centralized group of people already associated and familiar with the market
Competitors/Substitutes:
On the commercial level production of biogas in the country there is no competition at all in the
market. There are some of the biogas production companies already running but they all are on
the very small-scale level.
Our Target Market is Lower & Middle class who’s Income: 10,000 – 30,000 per month, mostly
have approx family 4 to 6 members and targeted Geographical area are Villages, Small Towns
Representing 63-67% of total population of Pakistan
When it comes to the uniqueness of our idea so first of all we are making the biogas from the
Kitchen waste which is not being done in Pakistan, Secondly our target market is Urban Middle
and Lower class. Lastly our product is quite cost efficient and do not need expert to manage its
functionally is quite simple and all these reason make our product unique and more suitable for

Our biogas is 30% less expensive than the current cost of fuel.
