Thanks to all that came to our P&C meeting. Was great to see you all and some great discus-sions around NAPLAN results, NSW Government’s Enrolment Policy and the recent NSW Edu-cation Standards audit for compliance. We also started planning for the Colour Run on the 29
th of
November. Stay tuned for more information on that one. Plus we were finalising Spring Fair activ-ities.
2019 Spring Fair Competitions
Have you seen the flyer about all the great competitions this year for the fair??? Do you have someone in your family that loves Lego®… loves to create artwork… or is handy in the kitchen? Well we have all your bases covered this year! We have partnered up with some familiar com-munity faces with Bungendore Community Bank, Suki & Hugh, and the CWA to bring these to you. Get your entry form at the front office now!!! Entry is only $5.
Spring Fair raffle tickets have arrived - sell your tickets for a chance to WIN
You will receive a letter this week about participating our Spring Fair Raffle. We have TWO awesome prizes up for grabs:
The first prize is for four (4) nights at the world famous 4 ½ star Sea World Resort & Water Park on the Gold Coast for two (2) adults and two (2) children including unlimited entry to Sea World, Warner Bros Movie World, Wet ‘n’ Wild Gold Coast and Paradise Country, also including a $1,000 Flight Centre Gift Voucher and $100 credit for food and beverage at Sea World Resort and Water Park. The winner will have 12 months to use the prize and it can be used over the school holidays.
The second prize is for $1,000 IGA voucher, proudly provided by IGA Bungendore and BPS P&C.
We’d love our BPS families to really get behind the raffle, as all monies raised will continue sup-porting valued programs at our school. We will be sending home (one per family) a raffle book with only 20 tickets each. ($2.00 per ticket). Each family who sells or purchases a complete book of raffle tickets will go into the draw to win a Sony 4GB MP3 Player. Happy Selling!

Canteen news Congratulations goes out to our Canteen Manager Mal, on achiev-ing a ‘Healthy Star Rating’ from NSW Healthy School Canteens for BPS P&C Canteen.
Do you have an hour or so that you could help at the canteen any-time during the week? Either with food prep or serving? We are call-ing out for more volunteers please. See Mal if you are interested or leave your detail with the front office so we can contact you. We would love to have you!!!!
Remember pizza day has changed to WEDNESDAY but don’t forget about Taco Tuesday…..

Just a little reminder parents: - don’t forget to hit ‘submit’ on your flexischool order to avoid missing out. It easily happens as we all know mornings get so frantic. If you don’t get the email confirming the order, it has not gone through!

Uniform shop news The BPS Uniform shop is open every 2nd Friday throughout Term 3. Next opening date is TO-MORROW FRIDAY 20 SEPTEMBER from 2.45 - 3.30pm.
Can’t make it into the shop? Simply download the order form on the BPS school website and send it via the school office or to [email protected]. Remember we happily ex-change items that have all the labels and tags still attached!

P&C Meetings: Meetings are held Week 3 and Week 8 of each school term in the Staff Room on Tuesday evenings from 7pm. So the next one is Term 4, Tuesday 29th October 2019. All welcome. Please email any agenda items to [email protected] the week prior.
Colour Run - Term 4, Friday 29th November 2019 from 3.30pm. This will be a parent supervised event.

Safety tips for drivers using Drop-off and Pick-up zones • Always drop off or pick up your child from the designated zone and follow the school’s procedures.
• Drivers should remain in their vehicles at all times in the Drop-off and Pick-up zone.
• Make sure children use the Safety Door (the rear footpath side door) to get in and out of the car.
• Make sure the handbrake is applied when the vehicle is stationery.
• Always park legally.
• Avoid dangerous manoeuvers such as U-turns and three-point turns.
2019 BUNGENDORE JUNIOR OZ TAG
Bungendore Junior Oztag will be
running on Wednesday afternoons
(5:00pm) in Term 4 and this year will be
played on the Warren Little oval in
Elmslea.
Organiser Deb Gordon will visit the
school later this term with information
for players and teams. Registration will
occur in Week 1 of Term 4 as per
previous years.

Bulletin towards the end of this term.
