Spring Fair Update - Saturday 19 October

Planning is in full swing for our school’s upcoming Spring Fair on Saturday 19th October 2019. This year we are so pleased to be partnering with some of Bungendore’s best and most loved community organisations to make the event a fun family day out for everyone in the community.

Do you like to cook? Do you like to create art? We have some super exciting competitions planned - stay tuned for updates, including announcements about our very special local judges

If you’d like to join our Spring Fair Committee or you know of a business who might like to come on board as a sponsor please contact us at [email protected]

My Community Project - voting closes TODAY!

Thanks to everyone who has voted for Bungendore P&C’s projects as part of the NSW Government’s ‘My Community Project’ initiative. We’ve applied for funding to upgrade both the School Canteen and the Infants Playground. Voting closes at midnight on Thursday 15 August. Please spread the word amongst family, friends and neighbours and rally support to help our school community.

How to Vote

If you live in NSW and are 16 years or older, you'll be able to vote for the projects in the MONARO electorate.

To vote, you'll need:

1. a MyServiceNSW Account – if you do not have an account, sign up on the Service NSW website at www.service.nsw.gov.au or call 13 77 88

2. your Medicare card to verify your name and age

3. your NSW residential address to identify your electorate of MONARO.

Choose up to FIVE local projects, arrange them in order of your preference, then submit your vote at www.mycommunityproject.service.nsw.gov.au

Thanks to all those who have already voted - time to cross our fingers and wait till the results are announced in September!

Joke of the week

Why aren’t koalas considered actual bears?

They don’t meet the koalafications!

Parenting news

Parenting can be a tough gig - we all need some advice or reassurance sometimes. All BPS families have access to a free resource www.parenttv.com, which has loads of useful videos and articles. To create an account using our school subscription, go to www.parenttv.com/membership and use the code bungendore to gain access to all of the videos through our P&C’s subscription.
