“Have we not come to such an impasse in the modern world that we must love our enemies - or else? The chain reaction of evil - hate begetting

hate, wars producing more wars - must be broken, or else we shall be

plunged into the dark abyss of annihilation.”

-Martin Luther King Jr.

“The correlative to loving our neighbors as ourselves is hating ourselves as we

hate our neighbors.”-Francis Bacon

I’ve always taught my children to help those who are weaker than you. Always give a lending hand and a smile to

follow.

My daughter was suspended her freshman year of high school for striking a boys face with her first multiple times for taking a fellow students’ book-bag into the bathroom of the cafeteria during lunch and urinated all over it. She was

so angry, the boy was crying and so embarrassed. My daughter couldn’t help herself. I thought it was unfair to

her to be suspended. I took her out for dinner.

I couldn’t have been more proud of her.

If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything

at all.
