Over this period Trish will continue to have a close relationship with the school as she works to support students with complex learning needs across a number of schools.

Running FestivalNAIDOCIn week 10 of last term, Bullimbal School had its annual NAIDOC a week celebrations. The theme this year was Voice.Treaty.Truth. The theme emulates a positive future for indigenous culture through everyone working together. Each day, students were treated to music, art, Dreamtime stories, dance and language. Len Waters and other special guests including Quarralia, Tess, Renae and Buddy treated our student to a variety of fun and engaging activities culminating in a Family Assembly on the Friday. On this day, Len performed a traditional smoking ceremony to welcome families, followed by students from Birelee MACS dancing and Quarralia performing ‘Mother Earth’ in language. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this week such a big success.

This weekend sees another running of Tamworth’s Running Festival. We are very grateful to the Tamworth Triathlon Club who have once again decided to donate some of the proceeds of this fundraising event to Bullimbal School. If you would like to show your support for our wonderful school by coming along to be a spectator or to compete then please join us on Sunday at No 1 Oval. Events begin at 8:00am.

Congratulations
