Bulletins today are in loving memory of Jean Sheen
from daughter, Debi McMillan, son-in-law Bruce, and
grandchildren Kate, Jessica, Emily and Jeff.
WELCOME to our service of worship and thank you for being with us
this morning. We are glad you are here. You are invited to COFFEE &
CONVERSATION after the service in the Dr. G. M. Young Memorial Hall.
This time of fellowship is hosted by members of the Wilmot Quilters
Group. Next week the Prayer Shawl Ministry group will host.
BENEVOLENT OFFERING: On the first Sunday of every month we
collect a special Benevolent Offering. This is used to provide food
vouchers on Wednesday afternoons for those in need.
CONGRATULATIONS go out to all of our graduates. We are so proud of you and wish you the very best in the coming year. Know that we will hold you in our prayers as we follow your journey. Blessings
CONGRATULATIONS: In 1964, Emily (Cosman) Kierstead arrived at Wilmot as deaconess. Although her time with us was short, she was always remembered for her smile and her gentle ways. This past weekend, at the Annual Conference in Sackville, Emily celebrated 55 years since her graduation in 1964 from Covenant College (once the United Church Training School and now the Centre for Christian Studies). There is a lovely write-up on “The Deaconess History of the United Church of Canada” on:

Our Congratulations and Blessings are extended to Emily.
