Animals: You may come across some sheep on the terrain. They are rather shy
but still be careful while running close to them.
Maps: 1:10000 with 5m contour interval. Printed on waterproof paper.
Control descriptions: in start area.
Gates (important for 2nd stage): On northern part of map you might encounter doors/gates on fence or stone walls. Those gates are not locked. You can open them simple by raising them and push/pull. Please close gates behind you because they are preventing sheep to enter road or public forest. Look at sample photo:
Stone walls: There is many stone walls on map. If you destroy any of them please
report organizer in finish about that.
Forbidden area: on maps we have marked some small forbidden areas. They will
not be marked on terrain.
Special symbols: Note that on the map there is no vegetation boundary symbol
(black dots).
Day 1: Day2:
For first stage density of black dots represents run ability of terrain. Denser the
dots are more difficult is the terrain for running. As for second stage, small black
dots (similar to vegetation boundary simbol) represent long piles of stone (similar
to ruined stone wall but more than 1m wide and usualy less than 0.5 m high
(photo). Small black circle represent small stone shelter mad by human (photo).
Start bibs: No start numbers will be used in 2015.
Refreshment: water in the finish and on the course (only for second stage).
Clothing: All competitors must have covered body with exception of head and
arms.
Control points: Some control points will have multiple SI-units. It doesn't matter
which SI-unit you punch with SI-chip. Mispunching results in disqualification. In
case of SI-station failure you need to use manual punching on map.
Map issue: We want to have fair-play conditions for everyone so after each
competitor finishes his race he must dispose his map into box with corresponding
category label on it. Maps can be taken after the last competitor's start.

Results will be printed in finish area and published on web pages after each stage.

How to come: After crossing bridge take left turn towards airport of Krk. Follow
the signs towards Voz peninsula for few km and you will reach finish area.
Competition type: middle distance
First start: 13:00
Map: Voz, 1:10000, e=5m, drawn in 2014 by Robert Miček (SVK) and Zdenek
Sokolar (CZE). Revised in February 2015.
Course planning: Matjaž Štanfel
Course advisor: Tihomir Salopek
Special comment of map: Mapmakers decided to use black dots representing
stone field for definition of running speed. We recommend you not to enter areas
drawn as hard running stony area if this is not necessary (look at special symols
for stage 1).
Terrain: Voz peninsula is bare-rock part of island of Krk and will provide unique
(partly extreme) continental type of terrain. Most of the area is vegetation free
and very demanding for high-speed running however fast running areas and
forest area will occur during course.
Shoes: Spike shoes are allowed but not recommended because of very stony
ground. Dobb shoes without metal spikes are recommended.
Safety issue: Be extra careful when running fast in stony area (M21E will pass
through it). Stones on ground are sometimes very sharp and may cause injury
after falling on ground. We warmly recommend use of running gloves in M21E for
hand protection for first stage.
Finish area: North of finish tent will be placed spectator control (control point no.
90). After spectator control runners will have 765 m until finish. Note that from
