For May 22-23, 2010 A Family Perspective byBud OzarWe know parents are given the gift of the Holy Spirit.Could it be you are the Advocate mentioned in todaysgospel; the Advocate who will teach and remind your children of all I told you? Christian parents are meant to
be instruments of the Spirit to their children.
Homebound Helpers Needed! Ever since the very firstday I arrived here, I have wanted to establish aLay Person Homebound Visitation program. That is, I amlooking for volunteers to bring Communion on (at least) amonthly basis to our parishioners who are Homebound.
Now that the Deacon is here, he is going to help me estab-lish this program. Not counting the nursing homes, I haveon my list 12 shut-ins for Holy Spirit and 6 shut-ins for St. Anthony. The following people from both parisheshave expressed an interest: Jane Bonasso, John White,Joe Meluzio, Sandra Costello and Mike Nunan. If anyoneelse is interested, please call the office. The more volun-
teers that we have, the more our Homebound people thatwe can see. If you know someone who needs to be addedto my list, please contact the office. Fr. John Going to College? Take your CATHOLIC FAITH
