Entry requirements:

x Only Karatekas who are members of the national Wadokai association, member (or guest) of the FWE, are allowed to participate in European Wadokai Karate Championship.

x Per individual categories 2 athletes per country are eligible to compete, as well as 1 team per country in the relevant category.

x Each contestant is allowed to be registered only in his/her age category! x Registration upward is not possible neither in individual nor in team events!

For the Shobu Championships the age solely refers to the date of birth

Rules: The championship is subject to WKF Rules. Nevertheless special regulations are subject to proposals from the FWE Sports Committee.

KATA

x For U14 (Minimes) and U16 (Cadets) the Pinan Katas can be performed.

KUMITE

x If less than 8 competitors are registered in a category, the competitors will automatically be reallocated to the next higher weight category. If the original category is the highest category; they will automatically be reallocated to the next lower category.

x Maximum 2 weight groups shall be reallocated.
