  • Sunday April 27 ~ 2nd Sunday of Easter Scripture They devoted themselvesto the communal

life, to the breaking of bread and to the prayers.

(Acts 2:42) My strength and my courage is the LORD, he is my savior. (Psalm 118;14) even though you do not see him now you be-

lieve, (1 Peter 1:8) Blessed are those who have not seen and have

    believed. (John 20:29)

Reflection Why is it hard to believe what the heart feels but

cannot see or touch? Do you feel the loving presence of God in your

heart (your core being)? After the cross, and the resurrection what

comes next For the disciples and for you as a disciple?

Does it help you to live your faith through the parish community to pray, to live the sacra-ments, and to serve as a community of disci-ples?

Generation after generation passes. And in the midst of this passing the cross of Christ remains. Through the cross, God continuously proclaims to the world the infinite love that no created evil is able to overcome. Yes, the cross remains, so that in the world, indeed every human person may find the way to salvation. For it is by this cross that the world is saved.Mark MarkPope John Paul II, Pilgrim Pope, Messages for the World, Andrews MacNeel; Kansas City, 1999 p164 For the Ride Home by Ted Bergh, ParishVision Llc. 2014 Visit ParishVision.org.

A Vocation View: It is only through people like you that others will be able to say: We have seen the Lord. With the resurrection to empower you and with Jesus to lure you, you too can inspire oth-ers who have not seen to believe.
