Partnering with God

Coming up on April 17th, there will be a newcomer dessert night from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Following the dessert, there will be a fellowship and games night at BCCC. For more information, contact the church office.

Coming up on Friday, May 14th at 6pm, there will be a dinner for Hope International at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The evening will be featuring a Film Premiere and Dinner for Ethiopia. For more information, call Joyce Hedlin (604-585-1794).

BCCC is currently in the process of updating the church directory for 2010. Please take the time after the service to find your name and fill out your contact information.

David and Wendy Lister, who work with Youth For Christ 23 years and lead the Taekwondo Outreach here at Bear Creek, have accepted the position of starting a new Youth For Christ satellite chapter in Canmore, Alberta. In the process of transitioning to Canmore they will be without a home to live in for the month of June. Please keep your eyes and ears open for any places for them to stay. There are a number of members of our church who have had or may need surgery due to

various health complications. Please be in prayer for them for God’s comfort and protection.

Fred Ellis Pray for him as he has been having problems with his heart. Although he currently is on medication for it, pray that he will be able to avoid surgery.

Larina Ellis, Fred & Marilyn’s daughter-in-law has recently lost her baby. Pray for God’s comfort and emotional healing for her and the family.

Matt Gulenchyn Praise God that he is now home and that the doctors were able to find out the cause of his recent health complications. Pray for a quick recovery.

Tricia Ris Pray for her as she is going in for surgery on April 20th. Pray for the doctors as they perform the surgery and for God to ease her discomfort as she recovers.

Conrad Neudorf Pray for him as he recovers from surgery on his rotator cuff.

Carolyn Pray for her as she is a close friend to the Lexvold family. Her mother, Silvia had recently gone in for surgery to remove a brain tumor. However, at this point, cancer has been confirmed in her lungs and one kidney (multiple tumors). They will be removing the kidney shortly and then begin radiation on her lungs. Please continue to pray for this family.
