County Youth Ambassadors

Our County Youth Ambassadors leader, Sara Duncan, will

be unfortunately leaving us a leader. We appreciate her

time with us as a leader. She did a lot of great projects with

the youth and helped a lot with fundraisers. We would like to

give her a HUGE thank you from both her youth in the club

and from the staff at the Extension Office.

Beef Bits:

Congratulations Marshall County Beef Exhibitors. You all

did a fantastic job and your beef projects ROCKED!!! You

made us proud.

A BIG shout out to Jeff Hibbs and Brett Goecke for the

awesome job of prepping the barn and getting the base

floor in the covered arena packed and hard for the week. It

was so nice to not be paddling in the sand. Thank you!!!

Also a BIG thank you to all who helped to clean up the beef

barn on Sunday. Thank you to Jim Stalzer, Mark Seffinga,

Jeff Hibbs, Greg Young, Jim Mosher, Scott Juchems and

Brett Stewart and anyone else we are missing here. We

couldn't do it without the “barndads” bringing in the big

equipment to help with clean up. We greatly appreciate it.

Congratulations to Lauren Mosher! Lauren won the

Prepared Speech at the National Junior Angus Show held in

Des Moines this past month. The speech was sharing the

beef cycle from "Pasture to Plate".

Congratulations to Laurin Goecke who exhibited at the

National Jr. Angus Show held in Des Moines, to Ethan and

Evan Espenscheid who exhibited at the National Jr.

Hereford Show held in Louisville, KY, and to Baylee and

Cody Butler who exhibited at the National Jr. Charolais

show held in Grand Island, NE. Way to go and represent

Marshall Co! We are very proud of you all. Congratulations

to Lauren Solberg and Cash Johnson on their Best of the

Best showing. You both did a wonderful job and you made

us all proud!! Thanks for doing such a great job representing

Marshall County Jr. Beef. Job well done.

Best of Luck to all beef exhibitors heading to the Iowa State

Fair! We know we have several showing in both the 4-H

and FFA shows along with all the open class shows. We

know you will do great. Remember to keep your aisle in the

barns clean so that we can keep getting a prime spot each

year. Marshall County Beef - One Class Act!!!!
