successful naturopathic clinic in Brisbane, Australia, and is a senior member of the MediHerb team as a technical writer and educator. Berris was one of Kerry Bone’s first herbal students and has worked closely with him over the past 26 years. Session 2 Insufficient Sleep: A Health EpidemicGood sleep is vital for good health – we simply cannot live without it. Healthy sleep helps restore the immune, nervous, skeletal, and muscular systems; maintaining mood, memory, and cognitive function and many other body processes. It’s estimated that up to 80% of Americans have trouble sleeping at least once a week with 33% suffering most nights, plus over 40% of Americans report feeling sleepy during the day.1 In this presentation Amanda will discuss the science of sleep, common sleep disorders and the key health issues caused by insufficient sleep. She will outline her clinical and botanical strategies, including patient cases.
