Built VS BoughtWhen you build your own computer you will

save money. When you buy a computer built from a store

you spend more money, usually for the brand. It is possible to build a computer for around

$400, and match computers that cost a lot more when purchased from a store. Basically, if you have the know how to built

your own computer, you can save a lot of money.

The buildIt took us approximately 30-50 minutes to

build the computer, and some more to install the drivers and windows.

We were given $200 credit from NEIU to use at Best Buy, and we added about $100 more to finish it. Had we been given the $200 to spend online it

could have saved us quite a bit of money.

QuestionsWhat do you think the reason is that so many

people just pay more and buy a computer that is already built?

Would you build your own next time, after you saw how EASY it is?

ReferenceThe whole project was done from memory,

and we knew it. However, we planned to use this website if we got stuck

Field TripWe went to Micro Center and Tiger Direct to

purchase the parts we needed to finish the build.

Both are large stores with everything you need to build your own computer
