For many years Nufern & its diverse partners have enhanced high power Large Mode Area fiber laser and amplifier technology for the benefit of all manner of optical fiber applications. The tools developed and used in our own labs provide scientists, engineers, and technicians apparatus to safely and easily obtain the best optical results, reuse valuable fibers, and easily adjust and adapt key performance parameters necessary to understand and develop products. This set of tools is now made available as a kit or in parts to all experimenters & educators. Consisting of a patented inverted coil form set capable of low stress holding & easy loading 5, 10, or 15 m of fiber, a termination device for fibers emitting more than milliwatts, and key optical components which may be required to make lasers and amplifiers such as Bragg reflectors and cladding light strippers. • Uses the inherent straightening force generated within a bent fiber to gently but firmly contact heat rejecting active fiber to a heat sink

• Keeps heat rejecting coils of fiber out of thermal contact with other fibers & inhibits optical communication from wrap to wrap

• Is easily loaded and unloaded for the benefit of experimenters

• Available in 5, 10 or 15m capacities

• Both SM and LMA fiber coupled cladding light strippers available
