BUHOS, ACLIMATE CHANGE DOCUMENTARY BY: LOREN LEGARDA The introduction of the documentary shows a boy who threw a plastic wrapper while running. The boy symbolizes people who may not be aware of the impact of their actions to our environment. The documentary informs us about the many issues that we have to face just like the following: 1. Pollution 2. Climate Change / Global Warming 2.1. Melting of Iceberg and Polar Ice Caps 2.2. Extinction of Species 2.3. El Nino Phenomenon 2.4 Threat to Agricultural Productivity and Food Security 2.5. Threat to Right to Life 2.6.Heatwave 2.7. Spread of Diseases 2.8. Changes in Precipitation 3. Abuse of Environmental Laws All these issues arise because of our actions. We may not be aware that we contribute to the problems. So if we want to help, the documentary tells us to evaluate our actions. We have to consider the way of our living. Are we willing to have self- sacrifice for the sake of our environment? Is it really impossible for us to have a simple living with a sense of discipline and responsibility? If only people will not abuse environmental laws and instead, support the government’s campaign in protecting and preserving our nature, then we will have a “better world”.

BUHOS, ACLIMATE CHANGE DOCUMENTARY BY: LOREN LEGARDA

The introduction of the documentary shows a boy who threw a plastic wrapper while running. The boy symbolizes people who may not be aware of the impact of their actions to our environment.

The documentary informs us about the many issues that we have to face just like the following:

1. Pollution2. Climate Change / Global Warming

2.1. Melting of Iceberg and Polar Ice Caps2.2. Extinction of Species2.3. El Nino Phenomenon2.4 Threat to Agricultural Productivity and Food Security2.5. Threat to Right to Life2.6.Heatwave2.7. Spread of Diseases2.8. Changes in Precipitation

3. Abuse of Environmental Laws

All these issues arise because of our actions. We may not be aware that we contribute to the problems. So if we want to help, the documentary tells us to evaluate our actions. We have to consider the way of our living. Are we willing to have self-sacrifice for the sake of our environment? Is it really impossible for us to have a simple living with a sense of discipline and responsibility?

If only people will not abuse environmental laws and instead, support the government’s campaign in protecting and preserving our nature, then we will have a “better world”.

A simple act of planting a tree is a reflection of commitment and determination to realize that dream. If we show our love to our nature, we will receive countless blessings. In the end, we can have a happy and secured life.
