Apna Skool, Jagriti Bal Vikas Samiti

Apna Skool, Migrant Labour Project (MLP) is a network of schools that have been running for over 25 years in Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) to provide education to the children of migrant labourers. Because of the nature of the work adopted by these families, their kids move from one place to other, often finding themselves either working with their parents or supporting their family at domestic work. Apna skools are build close to the construction sites or brick kilns providing education and nutritious food to children.
