Day 2: BUDAPEST (Meals on Board/D) Upon arrival, start of your journey in Budapest city tour. Budapest. The administrative, business and cultural center of Hungary. The Castle District contains some of the Budapest's most important monuments and museums. The main sights of twin cities of Buda and Pest include Heroes' Square, Fisherman's Bastian and Gullet Hill, all of which offer panoramic views of the city. After lunch, you can spend your time at leisure or take a stroll along Danube River, which pulses through the heart of Central and Eastern Europe. Day 3: BUDAPEST – ZAGREB (B/D) After breakfast, travel to Croatia's northwestern capital-Zagreb and embark on a sightseeing tour of this old Central European city, with its baroque atmosphere in the upper town, picturesque open-air markets and great shopping. Take in sights like Roosevelt Square, Ban Jelacic Square and Zagreb Cathedral. Stroll through the medieval core of the upper town to Parliament House, St Mark’s Church, Kamenita Vrata or Stone Gate, and the ancient Lotrscak Tower. Day 4: ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKES – SPLIT (B/ROAST PIGLET L/D) Today, visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Europe's most impressive National Parks and a designated UNESCO World Heritage status since 1979. Take a stroll along the pathway and be awed by the 70- meter tall Veliki Slap, the largest waterfall in Plitvice lakes. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deers, bears, wolves,boars and rare bird species. Revel in a scenic drive through the Croatian countryside to Split, the 2nd-largest city in Croatia. Day 5: SPLIT – DUBROVNIK (B/BBQ Squid Seafood L) Embark on a city tour which includes Diocletian’s Palace. See the remnants of Roman heritage, Renaissance and Gothic structures of this contemporary city, Temple of Jupiter and the cathedral. Then, travel along the amazingly beautiful coast to Dubrovnik, the city also known as “Pearl of the Adriatic”. Day 6 : DUBROVNIK (B/L) This morning, enjoy a walking tour in this medieval city, recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Explore landmarks such as the Rector’s Palace, Clock Tower, the City Walls, Onofrio’s Fountain, Orlando’s Column and Sponza Palace. You will also see the Dominican Monastery and Franciscan Monastery with Europe‟s 3rd-oldest pharmacy. Spend the rest of your day at leisure. You may choose to explore the lively market, or enjoy a lunch in a seaside restaurant or simply relax. Day 7: DUBROVNIK – KOTOR – BUDVA – HERZOG NOVI (B/Montenegro Steak L/D) Drive south along the Adriatic Coast and enjoy a photostop at Europe's southern-most fjord, the Bay of Kotor before arriving at the coastal town and UNESCO World Heritage city of Montenegro – Kotor. Visit the Cathedral of St. Tryphon constructed in 1166 and see frescos and treasury works from the 14 th -20 th centuries. Continue to the 2500 year-old town of Budva, known for its well preserved medieval walls, sandy beaches and diverse nightlife. Enjoy a panaromic lookout as you enter the town then admire glitzy yachts in the marina or simply relax on one of the sandy beaches at your free time. Board a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and proceed to the area of Herzog Novi for your overnight stay. Day 8: HERZOG NOVI – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO (B/Folk Dance and D) After breakfast, proceed to Mostar and witness the town's multicultural background and historical sites. Walk across the famous Stari Most or Old Bridge, re-constructed after being nearly destructed by the war. Continue on to Sarajevo, the capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Day 9: SARAJEVO – ZAGREB (B/D) Embark on a city tour of Sarajevo, the site of the assassination that sparked World War I and longest siege in modern military history. Stroll down the cobbled streets of Bascarsija, the old town market founded by the Ottomans in the 15th century. Explore Gazi Husrev-bey’s Mosque and Olympic Stadium before visiting the War Tunnel Museum. Enjoy the scenic along the way when we head over to Zagreb. Enjoy a traditional pletna(gondola)ride to Bled island that feature the exquisite Church of the Assumption with Bled Castle perched high above amidst the Julian Alps. Back to Lubljana, view the twin bell towers and high dome baroque of St Nicholas Cathedral. Proceed to the foothill of Ljubljana Castle and Ljubljana River and begin your walking tour of this old city at Preseren Square, named after national poet France Preseren. Continue to nearby Market Colonnade, situated between the Triple and Dragon Bridge, housing dozens of exquisite shops for some free time exploring local handicraft. This cave is also home to the mysterious, unique and rare amphibian Proteus Anguinus, or human fish, as the locals call it. After this, we are crossing border to Venice, Italy for overnight stay. Day 12: VENICE - SINGAPORE (B) After breakfast, free at own leisure. If time permits, you can do some last minute shopping before your transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
