In January 2017, AXELOS announced its first major update to PRINCE2® 2009. The update will mark the arrival of new PRINCE2® guidance and revised examintions. Together, these form the PRINCE2® 2017 update.
What are the main changes?Foundation Exam - The foundation exam has been streamlined to be more efficient and focus more clearly on the core of PRINCE2®. Non-core modules, such as configuration management, have been removed while assessment criteria around tailoring have been added.
Practitioner Exam - The PRINCE2® Practitioner will have a renewed focus on giving delegates the ability to apply the PRINCE® methods in a project environment. Some of the exam changes are:• The practitioner exam will now test delegates on all parts of the PRINCE2® method• The emphasis on different parts of the syllabus has been readjusted• The need for additional information has been reduced• The PRINCE2® practitioner certification lasts for 3 years
The main changes to the guidance are characterised by an emphasis on:• Tailoring PRINCE2® to the needs of organisations and project environments• The principles hat underpin PRINCE2®• Clarifying the link between the themes and principles• The restructuring of the “Themes” guidance to accommodate specific examples of tailoring• The practical application of the method and guidance, with numerous examples, hints and tips
What does this update mean for you?Any PRINCE2® practitioner holder, who has passed the 2009 exam before the1st January 2018, will not be required to recertify to the new version. Your certificate will remain valid until the end of its five-year period however; it is highly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the new material.
Much like an extension module to PRINCE2, AXELOS has developed new guidance to bring the worlds of PRINCE2 and AGILE together, combining the flexi-bility and responsiveness of Agile with the
clearly defined framework of PRINCE2.
ITIL is the most widely accepted ap-proach to IT service management in the world. ITIL provides a cohesive set of best practice, drawn from the pub-lic and private sectors internationally.
MS Project is a tool that assists Project Managers and administrators in devel-oping plans, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress and analysing work-loads. This course is designed to ensure Project Managers get the best from this
software.
Determining the correct solution in incident and troubleshoot-ing environments is crucial to maintain a high level of custom-er support and consistency. Using the Kepner Tregoe method, you’ll learn time-tried, deliberate procedures to take out spec-
ulation processes to try and remove any bias thinking and determine the correct response in a range of situations.
Managing Successful Programmes (MSP®) was developed as a best practice guide on Programme Management. The guide comprises a set of Principles and a set of Processes for use when managing a programme. MSP represents proven pro-gramme management best practice in the successful delivery
of transformational change through the application of programme management.

CompTIA
CyberSecure™Online Security training for everyone!CompTIA CyberSecure™ is a self-paced training course of security best practises vital for employees to protect your business.
The course focuses on implications of security behaviours of everyone in the work-place...not just the IT department. The 60-minute course covers online and offline behaviours that reduce security risks.
WHO SHOULD TAKE CompTIA CYBERSE-CURE?
CompTIA CyberSecure provides results driven behaviour modification training on information security for every member of an organisation, from a project manager to a facilities mainte-nance engineer and even the CEO.
Learners and their employers can see their knowledge before and after the course through scored pre- and post-assessments. In addition, learners get immediate feedback on their be-haviours in the course that lets them know how safe they are in their day-to-day routine.
The training uses an innovative approach to con-tent development to create this fun and interac-tive course. No more boring eLearning!
HOW WAS CompTIA CYBERSECURE DE-VELOPED?
The objectives for CompTIA CyberSecure were developed and approved with the help of the CompTIA IT Security Community. This group in-cludes industry leaders who monitor, discuss and evaluate present new opportunities and chal-lenges for businesses. They develop informa-tion technology security-specific best practises, education programmes, industry standards and member driven initiatives.
No one is more qualified to serve the IT indus-try by educating end users about these critical security issues than CompTIA, the voice of the IT industry and the leader in vendor-neutral IT certification.
CompTIA has awarded over two million certifica-tions over the last 20 years with over 3000,000 IT professionals starting their cybersecurity ca-reers with the industry-leading CompTIA Secu-rity+.
WHAT MAKES CompTIA CYBERSECURE SO ENGAGING?
The course uses a combination of video, ani-mation, and interactive scenarios to help adult learners reflect on their own behaviours in real life situations. The short modules use a con-versational tone to keep learners entertained. Learning modules include the following types of activities to teach learners about good, better and best choices when information security is sometimes at odds with convenience:
• cognitive mapping• choose-your-own-adventure style• real world scenarios• case studies that contextualise choices• ranking exercises that teach learners about
good, better, and best choices
