Testimonials8For someone who's never been to Europe, I absolutelyloved my time at EBS in beautiful Germany. The 'DoingBusiness in Europe' program opened my eyes to theEuropean business climate, which is something Iwouldn't have gotten the opportunity to learn about inAustralia. Exchange is such an enriching experienceand the staff at EBS displayed nothing but class andexcellence. This was evident through the welcomeevents, the teaching, resources and field trips. I madegood friends and networked with people from all overthe world. I have no hesitation in recommending thisamazing program to my friends here in Australia. Thankyou, EBS, for making my exchange so memorable!Eunice Isidro, Queensland University of Technology
After EBS Business Summer, I understand how Germany became the economic powerhouse ofthe European Union. Our courses ranged from Distribution Channel, Retailing, and the EuropeanUnion, to Human Rights, Leadership and Cultural Differences. My favourite was the MarketingSimulation which involved making various strategic decisions under realistic constraints.Students coming from all over the world gave me the much appreciated opportunity to interactwith and understand different cultures. EBS's campus is well located near bigger cities, includingthe vibrant Frankfurt and Wiesbaden. I would also like to thank Ursula for her assistance andEBS's services that have far exceeded my expectations. Stay open minded, explore, and enjoy!Wan Li Yap, University of Exeter, UK
I experienced the course “Doing Business inEurope” with much excitement, as it providedinsight into many areas to which we as SouthAfrican students aren’t exposed. We startedday one with a campus tour - what abreathtaking environment to study in! Whilst itis a quarter of the size of Stellenbosch, it stillhas history, a wine culture and excellentfacilities. The following three weeks of studycovered a broad spectrum of European andbusiness topics. The content was not hard tofollow and it made one very appreciative of thepassion lecturers have for their Germanculture and economy. My main priority was tostudy, but as the course progressed most ofus found the time to travel, taste wines fromthe region and embrace true German culture.Kirsten Hill, Stellenbosch University
