Brume window film applied to the inside of your windows gives the appearance of acid-etched glass at a fraction of the price. The decorative cut-outs allow you to peek out, but no one can see through the solid etched glass film.

By following our instructions you will find the film easy to fit. We make the film precisely to your measurements (to the nearest millimetre) so no trimming is necessary.

We also supply plain film cut to your specifications. It’s perfect for bathrooms and internal doors where privacy is essential.

You can fit Brume to any flat glass surface. It’s great for street facing windows, glass door panels, bathroom and kitchen windows and glass cupboard doors.

Brume makes you feel more secure because it acts like laminated glass, making it more difficult to smash, and also obscures any valuables from prying eyes.

The film is easy to clean and all our designs look good in either kitchens or bathrooms.Brume is not effected by condensation. We do not advise the use of window film in areas that are constantly splashed with soapy water or grease, such as the inside of a shower door or behind a hob.

Glass cupboards can look stunning but we don’t always want all our clutter on show. Brume window film provides a stylish cover-up.


Glass door panels allow light into dark hallways. Retain some privacy without reducing the daylight by using Brume film.

For larger doors, film can also reduce the risk of breaking glass because the panel is more visible.

Improve your privacy and security with Brume window film on front and back doors. Overall designs work especially well for this purpose.

Brume allows full light in but the view is completely obscured.If an internal light is on, it is only possible to make out diffused shapes except where the film is cut out.

Brume film is also a good option for glass doors where safety is an issue. In the event of an accident, it can act like a laminate.

You can have numbers cut into Brume film. There are two styles to choose from - C020/23, if you like a contemporary look, or C021/22 if you prefer a more classic look. Unless you request otherwise, we will cut any numbers 1/3 the height of the panel and they will be placed in design position C (i.e. central).

For C020/11 and C021/11 you will need to specify the size of the circle. The number will be centred within the space as shown below right.

You can also have lettering cut into Brume film. Choose a classic (C022) or contemporary (C023) typeface. Please specify your words in a diagram indicating upper and/or lowercase, the approximate size and position of your lettering. Also tell us if the lettering is to be read from the inside (orientation = internal) or from the outside (orientation = external) by ticking the relevant box on the order form.C021

• Each film is cut precisely to your measurements.

• By following the instructions, the film is easy to apply. DESIGN POSITION

• With the exception of our overall patterns, all designs come in a choice of 4 positions: Border (A), third down (B), central (C) and vertical (V). Choose the height best suited to your eye level.

• Overall designs have tiny cut-outs and you will have to get very close to the glass to see in or out. HOW TO ORDER

• Number every window.

• Use a metal measuring tape. Windows that look the same are often different sizes, so measure each window separately to the nearest mm.

• Fill in order form and post or fax to Brume. You can also order online.

• You can pay by credit card or cheque made payable to Brume.

• We accept Maestro, Visa and Mastercard.

• Your film will be despatched within 5 working days.

• On receiving your film please check all measurements and fit the film as soon possible.

• Mistakes cannot be rectified once the film has

been applied.

How to order made to measure window film



Q. What kind of window is it suitable for? A. Any window, providing it is glass, not perspex, and the surface is clean and smooth.

Q. Can I see out? A. You can only see through the cut out areas so consider your choice of position.

Q. How easy is it to fit? A. Follow the simple instructions and it’s easy. Brume make the film to your measurements, it will fit perfectly with no trimming necessary. Brume Basics requires very basic DIY skills as you cut the film to size yourself. Thereafter the Brume Basics film is fitted by following the simple instructions.

Q. Is it easy to clean? A. Yes, just use a damp, lint free cloth, avoiding any abrasive materials.

Q. Is it suitable for bathrooms? A. You can use the film in a bathroom, but not where the film will come into direct contact with water, such as the inside of a shower door. Condensation is not a problem.

Q. Is it easy to remove once fitted? A. The film can be removed by following simple instructions.

Q. How long will it take for my order to arrive? A. Made to measure orders will be dispatched within 5 days after we receive payment. Your goods will need to be signed for so please make sure you give us a delivery address where someone will be in, or you may need to collect from your local postal depot.
