Local Surface Transportation

Parkview Road – TSP• Unsignalized Intersection with a LOS – F.• Install two egress lanes (left‐turn and

right‐turn lane) for Parkview Drive, install southbound left‐turn pocket on US 101 for deceleration, and install a southbound acceleration lane on US 101 for Parkview Drive left‐turn traffic.

• The City will continue to look for opportunities to study Parkview Drive and the Brookings Airport Area, including the adjacent Harris Beach State Park property.

• The area would benefit from an area plan due to several deficiencies and multiple surrounding land uses.

• Rebuild Airport Road as a cut-and-cover tunnel to avoid the RPZ of KBOK.
