Bronwyn Wade- Village Manager We had a wonderful morning for the Biggest Morning Tea.
What a great result we raised $877.55. It was lovely to see us
all come together as a community for such a wonderful
cause. Thank you to all who helped on the day especially
Graeme & Margaret for allowing us to use their garage &
Paul & Bernice for the Marquee.
We now have caught up with all our forms and we
appreciate you’re understanding. If anyone is not sure of
how to submit their periodic payment for monthly fee please
call the office.
We have the monthly Luncheon coming up on the 26th of
June we hope all can attend. Ron has suggested “Xmas in
July” for the following month. Please discuss at the Luncheon
maybe Battai Barn they have a great lunch and
entertainment. Please let me know and I will put a list up for
the following month.
The NBN is now connected up to unit 117. Please arrange
with your preferred provider to get your own telephone
connected example- Telstra, Optus etc. The village phone
Line out function will be disconnected on the 3rd July so this
means the village phone is only for internal not external you
will have to purchase a phone. Please call the office if not
clear.
Thanks to all for making me feel so welcome!
Ron Murray – Sales Manager
Welcome to winter @ Walka Grange – Brrrrr!
Over the next two months we will have a further 32
New residents with us.
Thank you to Garry & Albert for their “Queenslander”
Impression – about as exciting as watching the “knees
Brothers” on their daily afternoon walk.
Stop press: A third “knees brother” big Brian from
Villa 7 to join the daily double.
Sales are still strong and provided we continue to get good
weather. We should make our target of 110 villas “out of the
ground” by Xmas.

Project Manager Chris
Unicomb Construction Update
Also a warm welcome to our latest residents:
Peter & June Smith – Villa 94
Rhonda Spencer – Villa 95
Barbara & Ron – Villa 101 (Waiting for Villa
106 to be completed)
As always, there is much planned for
construction at Walka Grange over the
coming weeks and months.
Work is either underway or planned for and
near the community centre and the rail
passage… just when some residents think the
dust had settled in their area, we return!
The next stage of dwellings is due to
commence mid-June.
This will see construction extending along the
rail passage and will primarily include free
standing villas. Presently, the acoustic wall is
taking shape along this rail corridor and
when complete landscaping will be added
here.
Following this it is anticipated August will see
the completion of the triangle area below
the community centre.
A large common area has been
incorporated here and will include
vegetable gardens for residents to
coordinate.
And finally, plans for the community centre
have progressed to the next stage, with the
architect now working with the engineer to
complete design plans and the demolition of
the existing dwelling has begun.
Kind Regards,
Chris Unicomb

SONGS OF THE SEVENTIES
CROSS WORD TIME!
Whether you were born in the 1950’s or the 1990’s or somewhere in between, chances are
you’ve heard most of these classic hit songs from the 1970’s. Each blank line represents a word
missing in the title. Note: There are no blank spaces in the crossword. If the answer was Love song,
for example, you would simply write in LOVESONG.
Once you have completed the cross word as best as you can make sure you stop by the office
to tick off the answers if you get all the answers right you will receive a sweet reward.
How well do you remember the seventies?
Good luck!!
