    Sono cinque i diversi sistemidi personalizzazione:

    Incisione del logoLincisione del logo o del nome del cliente avviene per scalttu -ra, senza asportazione di materiale mediante specici pantogradotati di punta di diamante o, in alternativa, con incisione laser.

    Punzonatura dello stemmaPer la punzonatura dello stemma vengono eseguiti punzoni e rela-tivi controstampi, in modo da poter imprimere nel pezzo, median-te apposite macchine punzonatrici, il logo richiesto dal cliente.

    Applicazione a rilievoLapplicazione degli stemmi viene eseguita mediante saldo-brasatura. Sono previste diverse tipologie di loghi che si diffe-renziano sia per i materiali impiegati sia per le dimensioni. Talidifferenziazioni variano in funzione dei pezzi su cui verrannoapplicati i loghi stessi.

    Personalizzazione dei componentiNel caso di pezzi di vasellame, quando i lotti sono signicanti, lepersonalizzazioni possono essere eseguite anche sostituendoalcuni componenti previsti con altrettanti componenti persona-lizzati. Facendo qualche esempio: nel caso di un vassoio posso-no essere sostituite le maniglie, per i sottopiatti possono esserecambiate le bordure, oppure per le caffettiere possono essere

    modicati i manici, i pomoli o i beccucci.

    Studio e realizzazione di nuovi prodottiIn base ad esigenze speciche del cliente, possono essere stu-diati e sviluppati nuovi articoli che assolvano integralmente ilproblema richiesto.     Logo engravingThe clients logo or name is engraved by scufng- a chiplessprocess-, using special diamond-tipped pantographs or,alternatively, laser engravers

    Logo punchingHallmarks and relevant matching dies are used to punch logos sothat the logo the client wants can be stamped on the piece usingspecial punching presses.

    EmbossingLogos are blaze-welded.There are several types of logos that are different due to thematerials used or to their dimensions.Such differences vary depending on the pieces on which thelogos are to be applied.

    Component customisationTableware items, when the batches are important, can be alsopersonalised by replacing some regular components with othersimilar customised components.For instance, you can change the handles in a tray, can havedifferent borders in service plates, or handles, knobs and spoutsin coffee pots.

    Design and production of new productsBased on a clients specic requirements and needs, we can designand develop new items so as to fully satisfy such requirements. Wecan also introduce partial modications or make major changes toalready existing items as well as use different surface nishes suchas satin, gilding, polishing and so on.

    Repair and maintenanceAnother exclusive service Broggi offer their clients is therestoration of antique nickel silver items by means of a series ofmachining processes such as surface riveting, degreasing, re-silver plating, facing and replacing of any damaged components.

    BroggiFasi dilavorazioneIl ciclo di produzione di forchette e cucchiai inizia con loperazione di tranciatura (1). Per diminuire lo spessore della tazzarispetto al manico, si procede poi con la laminazione (2), e si prosegue con la rilatura (3), per dare la forma della tazzao dei rebbi alla posata laminata. Inne si passa alla coniatura (4), nel corso della quale vengono dati la forma e i decorinecessari. Per la lavorazione dei coltelli monoblocco forgiati si parte con la tranciatura del tondino in uno spezzone (1),che viene successivamente coniato a caldo (2), in modo da conferirgli una prima forma. Si prosegue con la tranciatura delmanico (3) e con lallungamento della lama (4); in seguito viene effettuata la tranciatura della lama (5), in modo da darle laforma reale. A questo punto rimane da denire la seghettatura sulla lama (6) e rinire il coltello con le normali operazionidi pulitura. Le fasi di lavorazione dei coltelli a manico cavo forgiati parte con la tranciatura delle valve (1). Le due valve che

    costituiranno il manico cavo vengono coniate a freddo (2), per dare loro la convessit e i decori, e poi vengono accoppiatee saldate (3): ecco il manico del coltello Inne, attraverso un composto autobloccante, viene assemblata e saldata almanico la lama (4), prodotta con le stesse tecniche dei coltelli monoblocco forgiati.

    Cutlery manufacturing processShearing (1) is the rst step in the process of manufacturing forks and spoons. Rolling (2) is used to reduce the bowlthickness compared to that of the handle, and the next step is trimming (3) to give the shape of a bowl or prongs to thelaminated implement. The nal step is coining (4) during which the implement is shaped and ornamentation stamped. Tomake forged solid-handle knives the process begins by shearing a bar into a blan (1) that is then hot coined (2) so as togive it some initial shape. Afterwards the handle is sheared (3) and the blade is stretched (4). Then, the blade is sheared (5)so that it takes its nal shape. Now blade serration (6) needs to be dened and the knife has to be polished as usual. Therst step to make forged hollow-handle knives is shearing the shells (1). The two half-shells that will form the hollow handleare cold-coined (2) to obtain the convexity and stamp the decoration; afterwards the shells are coupled and welded (3).And that is how the knife handle is ready. Finally and by using a self-locking compound the blade, made applying the sametechniques used to make forged solid-handle knives, is coupled and welded to the handle (4).

    Cycle de production couvertsLe cycle de production de fourchettes et cuillres commence par lopration de dcoupage (1). Finalement, on passe au calibrage (4), au cours duquel on donnela forme et les dcorations ncessaires. Pour lusinage des couteaux monobloc forgs on commence par le dcoupagedu rond en un tronon (1), qui est successivement calibr chaud (2), de faon lui donner une premire forme. Oncontinue avec le dcoupage du manche (3) et avec ltirement de la lame (4) ; par la suite, on ralise le dcoupage de lalame (5), de faon lui donner sa forme relle. ce moment-l, il ne reste plus qu dnir la dentelure sur la lame (6) etachever le couteau avec les normales oprations de nettoyage. Les phases dusinage des couteaux manche creux forgscommencent par le dcoupage des plaquettes (1). Les deux plaquettes qui constitueront le manche creux sont calibres froid (2), pour leur donner la convexit et les dcorations; ensuite, elles sont accouples et soudes (3) : voici le manche ducouteau. Finalement, travers un composant autobloquant, la lame, produite avec les mmes techniques que les couteauxmonobloc forgs, est assemble et soude au manche (4).

    Ciclo de produccin cubiertosEl ciclo de produccin de tenedores y cucharas inicia con la operacin de tronzado (1). Para reducir el grosor de la tazacon respecto al mango, se procede luego al laminado (2), y se prosigue con el recorte (3), para dar la forma de la taza yde los dientes al cubierto laminado. Finalmente se pasa a la acuacin (4), en el curso de la cual se conere la forma ylas decoraciones necesarias. Para la elaboracin de los cuchillos monoblock forjados se comienza con el tronzado de lavarilla para obtener un fragmento (1), que sucesivamente es acuado en caliente (2), para conferirle una forma inicial. Seprosigue con el tronzado del mango (3) y con el alargamiento de la hoja (4); a continuacin se lleva a cabo el tronzado dela hoja (5), para conferirle la forma real. A estas alturas queda por denir el dentado de la hoja (6) y acabar el cuchillo conlas normales operaciones de pulido. Las fases de elaboracin de los cuchillos de mango cncavo forjado comienzan conel tronzado de las valvas (1). Las dos valvas que constituyen el mango cncavo son acuadas en fro (2), para conferirles laconvexidad y las decoraciones, y luego son acopladas y soldadas (3): he aqu el mango del cuchillo. Finalmente, a travsde un compuesto auto-bloqueador, la hoja es ensamblada y soldada al mango (4), producida con las mismas tcnicas delos cuchillos monoblock forjados.

Bei der anschlieenden Prgung (4) werden den Besteckelementen Form und Dekordetails verliehen.Bei der Fertigung von geschmiedeten Messern aus einem Block beginnt man mit dem Schnitt des Rundteils in einBruchstck (1), das dann durch Warmprgung (2) eine erste Form erhlt. Darauf folgen der Schnitt des Griffs (3) und dieVerlngerung der Klinge (4); der anschlieende Zuschnitt der Klinge (5) verleiht dieser die tatschliche bzw. endgltigeForm. In abschlieenden Arbeitsschritten wird die Sgegestaltung an der Klinge (6) durchgefhrt und das Messer mit denblichen Reinigungsablufen fertiggestellt. Die Bearbeitung von geschmiedeten Messern mit Hohlgriff beginnt mit demSchnitt der Schalen (1). Die beiden Schalen, aus denen spter der Hohlgriff besteht, erhalten durch Kaltprgung (2) diepassende Hhlung und Dekorgestaltung und werden dann zusammengesetzt und geltet (3): damit ist der Messergrifferstellt. Mit einem Selbstklebergemisch wird die Klinge, die mit der gleichen Arbeitstechnik von geschmiedeten Messernaus einem Block entstanden ist, am Messer angebracht und angeltet.

    Mejor conocida como EPNS (Electro Plated NickelSilver), se trata de una aleacin preciada de cobre, zinc y nquel: laelevada concentracin de nquel presente en la aleacin utilizada porBroggi 1818 mejora sus caractersticas mecnicas y la resistencia. Elproceso de galvanizacin permite depositar plata pura al 999,99% conespesores elevados que permiten un empleo prcticamente ilimitado.La alpaca, por su naturaleza, tiene caractersticas y comportamientosmuy similares a los de la plata maciza. De hecho, el peso especco,la maleabilidad, conductibilidad trmica, color clido, agradableenvejecimiento, son todas caractersticas de metal noble.

    Meglio conosciuta come EPNS (Electro Plated NickelSilver), si tratta di una lega pregiata di rame, zinco e nichel. Laltaconcentrazione di nichel presente nella lega utilizzata da Broggi 1818ne migliora le caratteristiche meccaniche e la resistenza. Il processodi galvanizzazione permette di depositare argento puro al 999,99%con spessori elevati che ne consente lutilizzo pressoch illimitato.Lalpacca, per sua natura, ha caratteristiche e comportamenti moltosimili allargento massiccio. Infatti, peso specico, malleabilit,conducibilit termica, colore caldo, invecchiamento gradevole, sonotutte caratteristiche da metallo nobile.

    Besser bekannt unter der Bezeichnung EPNS (ElectroPlated Nickel Silver), handelt es sich um eine wertvolle Legierungaus Kupfer, Zink und Nickel. Der hier von Broggi 1818 eingesetzteNickelanteil verbessert wesentlich die mechanischen Merkmale unddie Widerstandsfhigkeit der Legierung. Der Galvanisierungsprozessermglicht die hochgradige Ablagerung von Reinsilber zu 999,99%,womit praktisch ein unbeschrnkter Einsatz des verarbeitetenArtikels gewhrleistet ist.     The collection was born from an idea by the Maestro,combining design and function with a new element: each piece of cutleryhas a specic use. The risotto spoon in order to taste, at last, the sauce aswell. The spaghetti spoon and fork, a modern and fashionable couple. Thetongs that allow to savor hors doeuvres and fried food without piercingthem. The steak set with the famous two-prong fork and the rigorouslyscalpel-shaped steak knife, in order not to fray the meat. The ambidextroussh knife, created to meet with the needs of a left-handed person anddivide the sh with just one touch. The philosophy that inspired the designof the series is the one of the chopstick. Handles and knobs are actuallyreferences to the famous Japanese object, while bowl and prongs maintain,in their lines, all the rich gastronomic Italian tradition.

Il coltello pesceambodestro, ideato per venire incontro allesigenza di un mancino eseparare con un solo tocco il pesce. La losoa che ha ispirato il design

    della serie quella di un chopstick. Manici e codoli sono infatti ci tazionidel famoso oggetto giapponese, mentre tazze e rebbi conservano nel-le loro linee tutta la sapiente tradizione gastronomica italiana.

Hollow metal objects in response to thedeforestation caused by the daily and massive consumption of bamboochopsticks used as cutlery in the oriental culture. The chopsticks, twolight branches, come with a thin and long-end fork and a double-tailspoon. Beside a plate and a bowl, the marriage between East and West,in a world with more branches.
