EventsTechnical Events
Code wars- To test the coding skills of the participants. To be held in 2
rounds.
Mathematika- A time bound mathematical quiz
Quiz- To be held in 3 rounds. It will be a general quiz consisting of questions
from every field.
Presentation- Consisting of technical as well as non-technical topics. Aim
is to motivate the participants to speak up with confidence
Non- technical Events
NFS LAN Gaming- An event that will be in great anticipation. For all thegamers to show off their gaming skills.
Photography- The participants will be required to take pictures from
anywhere around the campus
Extempore- A topic would be given to the participant 5 minutes before the
start of the extempore. The candidate is expected to speak the best he can in
the time provided.
Treasure Hunt- An interesting event that will call for all the adventure
seekers. The goal of the event is to provide the participating teams with maps
and they hunt for the required treasure. The team that completes all the
treasures first wins.
Sudoku- A mind boggling puzzle with a high level of difficulty. The
participants are required to solve the puzzle in minimum time.

Entry Fee: 30/- per team
Duration:2hr 30 mins (30mins elimination round,1 hr 15mins
final)
Prizes:Winning team would be awarded with goodies and top 3
teams will be given certificates.
Event in one line:Code war-an event to test your coding skills
Rules and regulations:2 participants
-Participants are expected to report 15mins before culmination
-15 groups will reach round 2-Using mobiles/pd's prohibited
-In case of tie, a tie breaker question will be given
Details:The elimination round would consist of 50 questions(20
coding-C,C++,30 aptitude)
The second round would consist of 5-10 C++ questions, each having
different weightage.

Labyrinth- Treasure Hunt
Entry Fee: 30/- per team
Event in one line:Treasure hunt is a game that may be played
in any home or large area. The idea of a treasure hunt is to provide a
trail of clues leading to a prize at the end. Each clue represents a step
along the way and points to the next step in the trail.
Prizes:Top 3 teams would be awarded with goodies
Duration:2 hours
Rules:
- Points are assigned to every team for finding each clue. And themaximum points will be given to the team who find the clue
very first.
- An entire team must stay together during the whole game.Splitting up of team while finding a clue may result in
disqualification of the team.
- Teams may pick up only one copy of the clue at each location.The team cannot hide or touch any of the copies intended for
teams that arrive after they pick their own clue up.

- Each team or individual must follow all the clues in thetreasure hunt. Following another team during the treasure
hunt is not permitted.- Maximum 3 and minimum 2 participants must form a team.
Details:
1)It is a fun game designed specially for under graduates.2)The clues are based on mathematics, general knowledge and
reasoning.
3)Any participant found violating any rule is disqualified at thesame moment.

Event in one line: The multiplayer LAN-adaptable game that
got fancy of almost every gamer across the globe still remains one of
the most played LAN game even today.
And for the same reasons, we have included into our event so that
we can have maximum crowd and maximum entertainment.
Prizes:Cash prizes of Rs. 500/-, 300/- and 100/- for First, Second
and Third team respectively
Event Details:
ROUND 1:- Knockout race between 4 players each- Race type: Sprint
ROUND 2:- Knockout race between winners of round1- Race type: Circuit
ROUND 3:- Final race between winners of round2- Race type: Sprint, Circuit, Drag
Rules pertaining to each round will be detailed separately on the
spot.

Event in 1 line:EXTEMPORE spontaneous speaking on a topic
given on the spot

Rules and Regulations:
- no. of participants not more than 15
- topics will b given 10 minutes before starting of the event
- timeline: 1 minute extending upto 30 seconds
- minus marking for extra time.
Details:-
topics will include both current technologies n non technical
matters.
Marks distribution:
content: 5 marks
presentation n confidence: 2 marks
extra 2 marks for using popular quotes n proverbs: 2 marks
1 mark completing it in 1 minute.

Competitors must give an oral presentation on a subject (technical &

Event in one line:An event calling all the photographers to
give their best shot in something they love.
Rules and Regulations:
1 participant
- Those interested must register online- On the day of the event, participants must report 15 mins
before at the venue
- There will be a single round- A maximum of 5 photographs are allowed per participant- Photographs can be taken either from digi cams or cellphones
depending upon the choice of the participant. If one plans tobring a digi cam, he/she must bring along the supported card
reader on the day of the event.

along. They are required to bring the best snaps they can fromaround the university campus. One picture would be chosen among

Event in one line:Do you love to solve the Sudoku in
newspapers? Are you crazy about solving this mind boggling
puzzle? Then this event is for you to take your craziness to the next
level.
Rules and Regulations:
1 participant- There will be a single round- Use of cell phones is strictly prohibited
Details:
- A Sudoku puzzle with a high level of difficulty would beprovided at the starting time. The one who finishes before the
earliest is the winner.
- If any one of the participants is not able to finish the puzzlewithin 30 minutes, their solutions would be collected and the
one with most accurate solution (maximum number of correct
boxes filled) would be chosen as the winner.
