    Product Benefts

    Our polymers are manufactured to achieve very high

    molecular weights. A range of products with various anionic

    charges has been tailored to ensure that the optimum

    selection can be made for all stages of the washer train.

    The resulting benets provide advantages over most of

    the commonly used products in the industry, including:

    Low dosage requirements to maximize cost effectiveness

    Negligible effect on underow rheology and improved

    mud pumpability

    Less blockage in the strainers

    Product Makedown and Application

    Kemiras Superoc washer occulants are supplied as

    easy-to-handle emulsions, resulting in short hydration

    time and small makedown systems. Initial dilution or

    breaking is recommended at 0.5-2.0% with nal dilution

    strength of 0.1% to 0.01%. Products have been specically

    formulated to break well in a wide range of process

    streams including washer overow and lake water. Final

    dilute solutions need minimal aging prior to use.

    Storage and Handling

    While concentrated emulsions should not be stored in mild

    steel, brass or rubber tanks, dilute emulsion is compatible

    with a wide range of storage materials. Please contact

    your technical sales representative for further details or

    assistance with feed and storage system compatibility.
