INTRODUCTIONOne of the most common problems that a dentist faces is managing patients with impacted wisdom teeth. Management of the patients requires an appropriate risk assessment that leads to a decision of either to extract it or not. Moreover, management might require a referral of the patient to a spe-cialist when the case is outside the scope of practice of a general dentist.
