Virtual Campus: Second Life Second Life is an online networking program created with the intent of allowing individuals and groups to do everything that you can do in real life, but online. You create your own avatar which will represent you in all events. The most prestigious universities around the globe have a campus in this virtual world.
On-campus and Online classesOn CampusStudents enrolled in campus programs can complete their degree requirements in two ways: either by attending our intensive short seminars held in the heart of Paris (2 to 6 hours) or by taking our intensive seminars at the Loire campus 1h15 from Paris (2 or 3 days).
Online Students complete exactly the same requirements as on campus students in their virtual environment. Every student has a personal page and access to the online portal including Second Life and the virtual library. All study materials are available in this area.
Horizons University has built their own virtual campus o�ering a variety of activities: classrooms, library, meeting rooms, teacher's o�ce, admissions o�ce, student relations desk, co�ee area, game rooms, soccer �eld, greek theater, swimming pool, boat ride, wildlife park, river, beaches and an o�ce where to meet professors. Seminars are o�ered on a regular basis and access is granted to all students who will have created their own avatar.

Professional opportunitiesAt Horizons University we focus on the practical aspect of education. This is why our faculty are experienced in both academic and professional environments. La Roche CampusHorizons University’s campus is located near the historic city of Gien, by the Loire River. Built during the Napoleonic era, it used to be a relay for long-distance travellers.
This early 18th century building has been renovated to host our intensive accelerated programs.
The indoor facilities include private apartments, library, internet room, student lounge, dining room, game room, classrooms and special activity areas.
Outdoor facilities include a large swimming pool and other recreational activities, such as table tennis, badminton, and volleyball.
