7000 Commercial Booster SERIES Operation, Installation and Maintenance Instructions The ECOAIRFLOW BOOSTER will increase the filtraon efficiency of any filter by charging the dust parcles upstream within any duct or unducted air handling system. The charge field is relavely small, but highly effecve in aracng very small parculate into a close-coupled air filter downstream. The BOOSTER operates on the molecular level, parcularly in the 0.3 to 1.0 micron size range, by adding an average of 15% in filtraon efficiency to either an electronic filter or a throwaway, passive filter. With under 2-was of power consumpon and negligible stac pressure loss, the BOOSTER is a safe, highly effecve way to boost any air filtraon system. Installaon and Operang Instrucons: Duct Installaons: Drill a 1-3/8" inch diameter hole approximately 8 to 16 inches upstream from the HVAC filter(s); as shown in the figure below. Ensure the selected hole locaon maintains a minimum distance of 6 inches between the BOOSTER's p and any metal surfaces in the system. The BOOSTER's p should be installed as close to the center of the duct as possible, which may be assisted by using the 6-inch extension rod. Fasten the mul-needle p securely to the threaded end on either the BOOSTER nose cone or the extension rod, if required. Align the mounng plate over the hole on the duct wall and mount the plate using the 4 sheet metal screws provided. Slide the BOOSTER through the mounng plate and duct wall, and securely twist the end cap to the plate. Install BOOSTER mounng plate (provided) to either an installaon rack (by others) or the AHU wall(s) itself, 8 to 16 inches upstream from the filter bank, as shown in the figure below. Ensure that the selected mounng locaon maintains a minimum distance of 6 inches between the BOOSTER's p and any metal surfaces within the system. The BOOSTER's p should be located as close to the center of a 4 to 9 square foot filter area range, which may be assisted by using the6-inch extension rod (provided). For face areas greater than 9 square feet, use mulple BOOSTERS. Fasten the mul-needle p securely to the threaded end on either theBOOSTER nose cone or the extension rod, if required. Slide the BOOSTER through the mounng plate, and securely twist the end cap to the plate. Operation, Installation and Maintenance Instructions

The ECOAIRFLOW BOOSTER will increase the filtration efficiency of any filter by charging the dust particles upstream within any duct or unducted air handling system. The charge field is relatively small, but highly effective in attracting very small particulate into a close-coupled air filter downstream. The BOOSTER operates on the molecular level, particularly in the 0.3 to 1.0 micron size range, by adding an average of 15% in filtration efficiency to either an electronic filter or a throwaway, passive filter. With under 2-watts of power consumption and negligible static pressure loss, the BOOSTER is a safe, highly effective way to boost any air filtration system.

Installation and Operating Instructions:

Duct Installations:Drill a 1-3/8" inch diameter hole approximately 8 to 16 inches upstream from the HVAC filter(s); as shown in the figure below.

Ensure the selected hole location maintains a minimum distance of 6 inches between theBOOSTER's tip and any metal surfaces in the system.

The BOOSTER's tip should be installed as close to the center of the duct as possible, which may be assisted by using the 6-inch extension rod.

Fasten the multi-needle tip securely to the threaded end on either the BOOSTER nose cone or the extension rod, if required.

Align the mounting plate over the hole on the duct wall and mount the plate using the 4 sheet metal screws provided.

Slide the BOOSTER through the mounting plate and duct wall, and securely twist the end cap to the plate.

Install BOOSTER mounting plate (provided) to either an installationrack (by others) or the AHU wall(s) itself, 8 to 16 inches upstreamfrom the filter bank, as shown in the figure below.

Ensure that the selected mounting location maintains a minimumdistance of 6 inches between the BOOSTER's tip and any metalsurfaces within the system.

The BOOSTER's tip should be located as close to the center of a 4to 9 square foot filter area range, which may be assisted by using the6-inch extension rod (provided). For face areas greater than 9square feet, use multiple BOOSTERS.

Fasten the multi-needle tip securely to the threaded end on either theBOOSTER nose cone or the extension rod, if required.

Slide the BOOSTER through the mounting plate, and securely twistthe end cap to the plate.
