ACID RAIN IS A RAIN OR ANY OTHER FORM OF PRECIPITATION
THAT IS UNUSUALLY ACIDIC, MEANING THAT IT POSSESSES
ELEVATED LEVELS OF HYDROGEN IONS (LOW PH). IT CAN HAVE
HARMFUL EFFECTS ON PLANTS, AQUATIC ANIMALS, AND
INFRASTRUCTURE. ACID RAIN IS CAUSED BY EMISSIONS OF SULFUR DIOXIDE AND NITROGEN OXIDES, WHICH REACT WITH THE WATER
How can we save the plants?
First we have to take care of our water so
the plants can grow well.
Another thing is to stop stepping on them
because then they could not grow any more.
STOP THE TORTURE OF INNOCENT
PLANTS!
Laboratory plants never have a nice day.
They never feel the sun or the rain or the
wind. They never sink their roots into the
earth. And many of them end their lives in a
laboratory blender. This senseless brutality
must be stopped!
The Plant Liberation Front demands an end
to taxonomism, an end to discrimination on
the basis of phyletic origin. We demand an
extension of the Constitutional right of due
process to all forms of life: No organism
shall be deprived of life, liberty, or habitat
without due process of law.
Save the plants Save the plants!

Acid Rain
Science Fair
What effect does acid rain
have on the forests of the
world ?
Trees are also harmed by acid rain. In
Germany, the forests are believed to be dying
because acid rain is harming them. Scientists
say that acid rain damages the waxy outer
coating that protects the leaves. When this
happens, it allows the acid to seep into the
tree. Instead of water changing from a liquid
to a gas inside the leaves, gas is taking the
place of the water. This prevents the plant
from taking in carbon dioxide to perform
photosynthesis, and the plant will eventually
die. Acid rain, acid fog, and acid vapor also
damage forests Acid rain also harms the soil
that the trees are growing in by taking most
of the valuable nutrients away from the soil.
Acid rain also leaves a lot of aluminum in
the soil, which can be harmful to the trees
that grow there. The atmosphere deposits a
lot of toxic metals into the forests because
acid rain contains metal. Some of these
metals are lead, zinc, copper, chromium, and
aluminum.
What is going to happened? We are
going to see how to know to take care
of the enviroment. We are going to see
how a plant grows with cloean water
and another with acid water.
Conclusions: to take care of our plants
and help the world!

Stop the harm
When there is acid rain, the rain releases these metals. This is believed to stunt the growth of many trees and plants. This also stunts the growth of mosses, algae, nitrogen-fixing bacteria, and fungi that are needed to help the forest grow. Forests need these because they eat the harmful things that will kill the trees, such as bad bacteria. Acid rain hurts trees because they cannot grow any more.
My experiment is about how to take care of our
environment. plants,tres,ect.We are going to
demonstrate how the plants grow when we don’t take
care of them.
