The Institute was co-founded by Shri. Dineshbhai Mody in loving

memory of his beloved son Late Shri Alkeshbhai D. Mody, who was a

dynamic stockbroker and a noble soul.

The logo of our institute “VISION, ERUDITION, FAITH and

CHARACTER” negates INJUSTICE (ANANYA), IMMORTALITY

(ANNETI) and GREED (PARIGRAHA) in every domain of life.

The Institute was set up in response to fulfill the need of financial

literacy in the global business arena. The MMS program was

introduced in 2002-2003.

Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies,(ADMI),the management institute of the

University of Mumbai, resides in the heart of its very own campus in Santacruz(Vidyanagari).

The building showcases itself in the shape of an octagon, with fully air-conditioned rooms aided with latest audio-

visual amenities like LCD projectors, OHP.This makes the classroom learning interesting and experiential.

Teaching, learning and Assessment focuses on quality & employability of the students. The institute provides

placement assistance that serves two purposes. First it provides the business owner or the company with human

capital who will contribute towards organisational growth. Second the students get to showcase their talent while

being rewarded for the efforts invested in the organisation. ADMI proposes to have a strong relationship that will

grow better with each passing year.

Alkeshbhai Mody, a dynamic stock broker in his age. This institute was formerly meant to provide financial literacy.

However, understanding the importance of dynamic business needs, the prestigious MMS degree programme was

launched in the year 2002-2003. The institute has been transforming students into remarkable and worthy

management professionals to add value to organizations and society.

The Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies is an

institute of the University Of Mumbai. This institute is located at Kalina Campus,

Vidyanagari. It has graduate and post-graduate programmes in management like

the prestigious Master of Management Studies (MMS) course in the specialization

such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations and Systems.

The students of the institute are well equipped academically and technically to

meet the challenges of the business world where they will be creating their future careers.

The institute encourages the students to enhance their thinking, feeling, speaking and doing skills in

congruence with the environmental needs of the business community. The institute imbibes in them the

financial and management studies” in university Kalina Campus, it being University college. Apart from having the

separate building for yoga and meditation centre, a unique feature amongst management schools where students can

As per the latest manpower survey, India is one of the emerging economies. After 1991 globalization, the concept of overall

development has led to increase in skill formation and improved capital resources. This has improved the productivity as the

human resources are expanding because of changing demographic structure and overall development of human capital.

We at ADMI believe in Human potential and understand the requirement of business world where a firm wants to have

managerial leadership, excellent functional skills and exceptional outlook. ADMI placement process aims to match the

requirements of the recruiters and aspiration of the students. The institute has the following placement process:-

Summer Internship Process

The summer internship programme of 8 weeks (2nd May – 30th June, 2011) aims to create an opportunity to explore the

industrial knowledge with practical wisdom and deal with the organizations environmental situations. This is also a process

to establish a long term corporate relationship with the student‟s community.

Campus Recruitment Programme

The Institute provides MMS executive On-Campus placement programme where we invite the business houses dealing with

Finance, Marketing, Personnel, Operations, and Systems students to come on campus and recruit MMS students as per their

business requirements. The process starts from December onwards.
