Some of the Young Turks of e.Gen

Mohammad Arbaaz Nayeem (BBA, IBA, 2007, Age: 26 Years) Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Development

For those who are not familiar with the industry, consulting remains an ambiguous concept. Organizations hire consultants to develop strategy, provide customized solutions, and propel growth. The value of a consultant lies in the fresh perspective, objectivity, and knowledge that s/he brings. From the last e-mail we send at the end of the day, to the first e-mail we receive the next day - it is a life of expectations, challenges, and fulfillment. Given the diverse group of highly talented people we interact and work with everyday - consulting is no doubt the facebook of intellectual prowess. And yes, our compensation package is one of the best that I know of and ahead of any of my IBA peers working in other industries. I can't think of a better industry to exploit my intellect and be financially contented as well.

M Rafiul Alam (BBA, NSU, 2008, Age: 25 years) Manager, Business Development

As one of the leading international consulting firms in the country, e.Gen always has given me the opportunity to be creative and apply my own mind. Compared to my age and experience, the freedom and authority I enjoy is second to none. While I have had my fair share of mistakes, I have been allowed to grow on my own terms and move at a fast track career path - both professionally and financially. This has significantly boosted my self-confidence with much more exciting times to look forward to.

Than Saw Way (BBA, IBA, 2009, Age: 24 years) Research Analyst

Work at e.Gen requires constant interaction with top notch global entities. From development partners like the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank to the world class consulting firms - it exposes you to

international best practices. By adopting the highest standards of professionalism, we push the boundaries to meet expectations of a truly global clientele spread around the world. The ever growing interaction and relationships with people of such diverse backgrounds from all over the world, makes you feel that you are truly a part of the global network of experts, intellectuals, and researchers.

Navid Deewan (BBA, IUB, 2009, Age: 28 years) Business Development Executive

I had very little knowledge about the consulting industry until I appeared for the interview at e-Gen and found the job both interesting and challenging!!! Since then, it has been a roller coaster ride and I never felt like looking back as it is so much fun and excitement. Consulting gives

you a chance to compete and test yourself against some of the biggest firms and the best minds in the world. The industry will force you to bring out the best out of you. If you believe in individualism and progression, this is where you should be.

Subarna Dey (BBA, UIU, 2010, Age: 23 years) Business Development Executive

The more we feel at home while at work, the more likely we will miss home less while at work. Working at e.Gen has given me that comfort zone while facing the challenges of meeting the project deliverables. Within less than a year, I have grown manifold – both professionally and

in terms of financial returns. It is an excellent firm which looks after its employees well. e.Gen thrives on a work hard and play hard culture and I am proud to be a part of that clan.
