THE GRAND AFTERNOON TEADuring The Grand Afternoon Tea, served daily between 15h00 and 17h00, The Grand introduces you to a wide variety of homemade sweet and savoury delicacies, created by our talented pastry team. In the meantime you can enjoy a range of delicious teas of Newby Teas, that have been carefully selected by a real tea-sommelier.

The newest theme is the Jewel Afternoon Tea inspired by the new exhibition at the Hermitage, where they show one of their greatest treasures - the fabulous jewellery collection.

Once again, the pastry team has really surpassed them-selves; enjoy an etagère full of unique, creative and surprising sweet and savoury delicacies inspired on jewels and fashion. Of course, homemade scones and real clotted cream are also part of the Jewel Afternoon Tea.

AMSTERDAM LIGHT FESTIVALThanks to Amsterdam Light Festival, we do not have to dread the dark winter nights anymore. From November 28th until January 19th, the festival transforms Amsterdam into a true city of lights, with the help of contemporary (international) light artists.

During this annual festival for young and old, both the residents of Amsterdam and the city’s many visitors are treated to a spectacle of light. At the same time, the festival offers talented (young) light artists a platform to present their latest work.

The 8th edition of Amsterdam Light Festival is dedicated to the theme ‘Disrupt!’. The 21 artist selected for the exhibition interpreted the theme in a variety of ways. While some installations form playful interventions in the city streets, other artists transform the city’s exciting architecture with their light artworks to give you a fresh look at your surroundings.

THE FLORAL BOUTIQUE Flowers add beauty to any thoughtful occasion and grace to every special event. Especially during the festive season.

The Floral Designers, located on the ground floor of the hotel, have one goal: exceeding the guest’s expectations. During the festive season they will enrich the hotel with sparkling decorations in warm winter colours.

From mid November, The Floral Designers will also present a collection of unique Christmas decorations in their boutique. From luxury garlands and designer objects, to fully decorated Christmas trees and much more.

The boutique is open from Monday till Friday from 9 am until 5 pm. Besides regular opening times, the shop is also open by appointment.
