Shritara is engaged in Design-ing, Manufacturing & Testing of Chemical Process Equipment with special competence in pro-ducing alloy steel and stainless steel Heat Exchangers, Reac-tors and Pressure Vessels to customer requirements under International Codes and Specifi-cations. The plant is well equipped with machinery and manpower to produce fabricated equipment and machined items like Agi-tated Reactors, Heat Exchang-ers, Columns, Vessels, Auto-claves and Storage Tanks in stainless, steel alloy steel etc. in accordance with ASME, TEMA, & IS standards. The company prides itself in carrying out de-velopment of import substitutes. The manufacturing facilities are visited by leading international agencies for certification and in-spection viz. TEIL, BVIS, Elec-tromech, Lloyd’s Register Asia. Lead by a competent team of highly experienced technocrats, we at Shritara Engineers, are committed to delivering cost

effective solutions to your pro-ject requirement with all applica-ble equipment standards. We can also design, fabricate & erect at site API 650 and API 620 tanks of fixed roof or domed roof structure in Carbon steel and stainless steel. Complete design, engineering and fabrica-tion, testing and erection can be taken up. We are now in proc-ess of developing expertise in fabrication of Floating roof tanks. Stainless Steel Cladded storage Vessels, Bunkers and Silos for material handling of Fertilisers, Crystalline Powders and Prills can be delivered with custom-ized solutions along with Con-veyor Systems. Oil Coolers, Fuel Oil tanks with Internal Heating coil as per TEMA standards are available in various ranges from 100 kcal/hr to 10000 kcal/hr heat dissipation rate in copper tubing and stainless tubing. We carry out genera fabrication of Stainless Steel ladders and railings, Structures and Brac-ings.

Manufacturing Process

We have been consistently fol-lowing the parameters associ-ated with Good engineering practices over and above Cli-ent Specifications and require-ments laid down by Codes and Standards. Our Quality Audit specifies contract review as a major item for ensuring correct supply of product with mini-mum delay. Due diligence ex-ercised in pre – engineering stage results in consistently correct decisions for planning, processing and dispatch of or-ders. Material, Manpower and Machinery is included in pre-view of contractual audits to minimize gaps in planning for deliverables. Any contract review results in cost analysis, planning of time & motion, design and engi-neering with reference to con-tract deliverables Contract review is followed by generation of Drawings, Qual-ity plans, Inspection and Test plans, Cutting plans based on material sizing, process and time planning and placement of requisitions for material and or shortfall in manpower and machinery.

All material is procured against valid test certification, checked at stores and released for work after proper marking and issu-ance of release note. Untested material received at stores is sampled at independent labo-ratory for required confor-mance. Manpower such as welders and fitters are evaluated for experience in assigned tasks and suitably graded for work locations as per criticality. Machinery is evaluated for ca-pacity, maintenance, tools, jigs and fixtures. Procedures developed for test-ing by destructive and non de-structive means are revali-dated if outdated and fresh certification obtained if not available. Process to be followed is bro-ken stage wise into daily and time bound units for achieving targeted output by qualified shop floor supervisors and en-gineers. Generating relevant and objective reports for re-quired events and also for ac-tivities relevant to job at hand monitors manufacturing proc-ess.

Page 6: Brochure 2008

Internal Inspection reports are presented to Clients represen-tative for stage wise sampling of mechanical parameters for conformance and subsequent certification as per approved Quality plan, Drawing, Codes etc. Testing for Mechanical compli-ance is monitored with cali-brated instruments and gauges as required for job at hand. Fluids coming in contact with equipment which are likely to cause deteriorated perform-ance are suitably treated be-fore use. Cleaning and drying after final testing is ensured. Passivation, Painting, Final Identification, Packing and Transportation are all pre de-fined and reports are gener-ated. Spares and loose items are suitably identified and packed with required packing material with spares lists de-tails duly inspected and certi-fied.

Some Common Test Reports Gen-erated while fabricating various equipments.

Material Inspection reports Dimension reports. (Dished End

Forming, Shell Rolling, Tube Ex-pansion, Tube Sheet drilling, Shell course Joining and align-ment, set ups and weld seam reports etc.)

Hydrostatic test reports (Shell, Coil,

Jacket, Limpet etc.) Pneumatic test report

(Reinforcement pad for nozzle openings, Thin Shell leak detec-tion, Flange to pipe weld etc.)

Radiographic Film evaluation re-ports.

Dye Penetrant test reports Ultrasonic and / or Magnetic Parti-

cle test reports. Weld Seam Completion reports. Heat treatment reports. Dry run for rotating Parts in assem-

bled condition (Temperature rise, Whirling, Eccentricity, Vi-brations, Noise Level, Speed etc.)

Wet Run or Full Load Test with Wa-ter or Fluid supplied by Client for evaluation.

Quantity check reports Reports for Pickling and Passiva-

tion. Mechanical Cleaning and Painting.
