Fair Share Wanted

• The Consumer Electronics Assn. and the CTIA are urging the FCC to look into reclaiming some digital TV airwaves.

• The reclaimed airwaves would then be used for wireless devices.

NAB Stepping In

• The National Association of Broadcasters, along with a few powerful friends, sent a letter to the FCC expressing their concerns about the devotion of the airwaves to wireless devices by saying that consumers choices will be limited.

• (Meanwhile, the National Association of Broadcasters has stepped into the situation by meeting with other agencies to attempt to reach a compromise approach to performance royalties)
