Research Design

1.       Research Setting

The research drew upon a sample of customers of the Hotel. The hotel comprises 15 hotels in 6 locations across India and is located in one of the prime locations of Mumbai. Its guests include top corporates and members of the high society.

3.       Techniques of Data collection

For our research, we wanted to know the attitudes and mindset of customers. Accordingly, we conducted various paper based questionnaires. The study focused mainly on the customers.

Sample selection:

Non-probability sampling was used.

The paper based questionnaire was presented during checkout. The sample size was limited to 10 guests a week.

 Sampling Distribution:

A heterogeneous sample having a combination of above characteristics.

4.       Why choose that sample and technique?

The sample was chosen in order to provide a representative view of all the guests. A quantitative technique was implemented to estimate behavior pattern of all guests, so that accurate data could be obtained.
