British film To be a british film it has to include the follwing 3 things: The cultural test for film One of the UK’s official bilateral co-production agreements The European Convention on Cinematographic Co-production Also the elements in the film has to be british as it should be set in England, it should have englisch actors in it and the director should be british as well. Another aspect to be named as a british film is that it has to get 16 out of 31 points in a test which it has to go through. There are 4 different groups in which they can get different points.
